My brother @SincerleyWilson gave me some space on his latest effort to speak on something that's been weighing on my heart for a while.

"My heart bleeds to hear us pleading for what's ours already,
God gave me life I ain't begging for what's not yours to give,
Swallow my pride on a daily like say it's ordinary,
Even if you subdue my body, my spirit wont submit,
So when these modern day lynches become a news flash,
Then what am I supposed to tell my brothers?....they shouldn't shoot back?...No!
My people trying for years to gain respect amongst their peers, and still our mothers crying tears,
And what's the theory that you should fear me based on?...History?
The offspring of a people that lived through misery for generations...and you subject us to the same shit!
Can you show me how far we came from those slave ships that they put us on?
Man...I wish I had a newer song,
