Sean Johnston returns to @throneofblood this month with a new 12" under his @hardwaybros alias! Best known as one half of legendary DJ team A Love From Outer Space alongside Andrew Weatherall, he's also released music on labels like Flashcomm and Sabres of Paradise.

We're premiering Throne of Blood label manager Max Pask's remix of 'Friedman Feedback Loop Revision' (the title itself a nod to label boss James Friedman's "highly-valued opinions"). Pask brings his love for all thing analog and Italo to the table, transforming the original into an epic set-closer.

The 21st release of @PlaygroundRecords comes from Tel Aviv from a young musical talent known as Coobe (@cuba-596964817)

His 'Kadum' Ep features 3 originals complimented with remixes from Thomass Jackson, Roe Deers and @RichardRossa.

The original of Moog Levv has a bass-line full of funk, which turns acid and takes on a frenetic rhythm. Chords pitched up and down make it fly with disco spirit. Whilst a constant percussive string sound keeps it tribal, hi hats and snares of analog rhythm-box give it an old school and dirty touch.

Richard Rossa takes on the remix of this track and mutates it with risky cuts, extreme but well-calibrated modulations which are supported by pads which are dispersed to great effect between delays and reverbs.

@LocalSuicide, aka Munich’s Brax Moody and Greek-born Vamparela make their debut on @LumiereNoireRecords. Following a string of successful releases on labels such as Bordello, My Favorite Robot, Multi Culti, Roam, Duro and OMBRA amongst others.

Fittingly, Lumière Noire or in English black light, as per the meaning of Chloé’s label’s name suitably describes the way Local Suicide’s music flirts with the more troubling zones of the listener’s psyche, where danger roams and aural comfort is no longer a guarantee.

The EP’s two original tracks set a dark, shifty sonic tableau, in which German-American multidisciplinary artist – and a unique personality of the Berlin underground – Nicki Fehr comes to blend his voice with Vamparela’s. With remixes from Smagghe & Cross, Niv Ast and Lauer.

On 'Already There' Local Suicide affirm their adherence to the more captivating signatures of new wave and post disco. Whilst Permanent Vacation (@permvac) stalwart Lauer adds a surprising electro pop shimmer to the track.

Vidis Čepkauskas or simply V returns to Glasgow based label Nautilus Rising with his 'Confusion' EP. The three tracker marks another high quality release for the Lithuanian artist, who's sprinkled his musical magic on labels such as Correspondant, Cin Cin or his own imprint Le Temps Perdu. 'Confusion Totale', the EP's second track, features various elements from multiple electronic sub-genres and therefore but not only shows anthemic traits. The spacey-sounding chords open into subtle Acid bleeps carrying the listener feathery through a sound-pillow. 

V's EP 'Confusion' will be released on Nautilus Rising on October 10th, 2019.

EXCLUSIVE: V - Confusion Totale [Nautilus Rising]

Kate Stein and Lord Fascinator have been partying and playing together for years at parties in New York and excited to finally have their names side by side on a piece of music. 
Beyoğlu was the original opening track for Fascinator’s album Water Sign. Cut at the last minute it found it’s way on to a chewing gum commercial which then turned into a Hungarian meme. He decided to release it in June enlisting Kate Stein and Die Orangen on remix duties.
