Having already impressed via a slew of releases for Correspondant, Live At Robert Johnson and his own Biologic Records, DC Salas tees up an impressive release for Futureboogie.  ‘The Weight Of Uncertainty’ EP illustrates the suave sounds that the Brussels born producer has become noted for, and comes backed with a remix from the supremely talented and always on-point I:Cube.

In its original mix, ‘The Weight Of Uncertainty’ dips into a smorgasbord of sound, as touches of Belgian New Beat slide on up against balearic disco tropes for a spectacular body & soul workout.  The legendary French disco architect and Versatile Records mainstay, I:Cube, floats in on a little fluffy cloud for a terrific ambient dance version, fuelled by the kind of IDM brain scrambling sounds once present in the DNA of producers like Carl Craig, B12, Black Dog and Autechre.

On his two other originals, DC Salas gets raw and grungy on ‘Gliding Sound’, its distorted edge adding to the drama composed by the heavy hitting synth lines and the gnarly percussive pattern, whilst ‘They Don’t See It’ introduces some dark acid elements to the chugging rhythm and steely hi-hats anchoring the tracks off-kilter melodies.

It is with much delight that we can announce the return of the Krause. Here with the second installment of the ongoing Riotvan Edition, https://soundcloud.com/panthera-krause, as in one of the label’s most beloved mainstays, hands in his first two original productions after his 2019 full length offering „It’s a Business Doing Pleasure with You“. This two-tracker showcases everything we love about Krause, the tongue-in-cheek attitude, the anything goes approach in conjunction with anyone dances arrangements. Yet, on „Como Dada“ and „All I Want To Do“ we find him focus particularly on groove and rhythmic patterns. No doubt, two bold tunes ready to heat some floors. Leaves us thinking, what actually does he wanna do? Maybe have some fun? Well, we’ve got a feeling, he’s not the only one...

The reference 80 is presented by our partner "Calystarr" this great artist from the south of Spain, is improving by leaps and bounds his musical production, great in the studio and better person, Adrian focuses this time on raising an ep with a sound design very based on the sound of the eighties, powerful clenches and conduntendes rhythms to create rich and laborious compositions when working in the booth with them.

Cmind and James Rod, present different versions of Claystarr's material, Cmind takes it to his new wave terrain while James presents a more underground and modern sound for this version.

CASSIMM’s remix of Radio Slave vs Audion’s ‘Mouth To Mouth’ continues the story of Matthew Dear’s classic, which Radio Slave revived and reinvented as part of his 2024 LP, ‘Venti’.

Radio Slave’s hi-NRG disco cover of Audion’s minimal/maximal 2006 and era-defining anthem has dominated dancefloors since it emerged as a single in late 2023, with the likes of Erol Alkan, Job Jobse, Sean Johnston, Jennifer Cardini and Eats Everything continuing to play it today and the latter awarding it an Essential New Tune whilst sitting in for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.

Now, recent Rekids alum CASSIMM continues his huge run of form with a chunky, main-room house interpretation that shows just why his recent release, ‘House of Moves,’ won DJ support from the likes of Tong, Arielle Free, Paul Woolford, Honey Dijon, and Jennifer Loveless.

CASSIMS’s remix of Radio Slave vs Audion quickly follows Lindstrom and Solomun’s remixes of the ‘Venti’ LP’s tracks, which have seen support from the likes of Ivan Smagghe, Chloé Caillet, Nightmares On Wax, and more.

@hnrqlx is a DJ, programmer and yogi. It’s in this multidisciplinarity that he finds center, bringing together Yin and Yang. He debuted in 2006 in the small bars of Bairro Alto, Lisbon and since 2008 he has been a regular presence in clubs and festivals across the country. 

In 2018 he began his journey in Yoga Iyengar and since 2021 he has been in training to become a teacher in the future. In 2020 he was invited to join the @lux Frágil team and in 2023 he debuted his Visceral night. His sets take us through the most sumptuous jungles that dance music culture has to offer and stand out in these times marked by a constant excess of pragmatism and functionality.

With its roots in Karachi and Bangkok, Jugaar Records is a label working to shine a light on the vibrant scenes in both territories whilst casting a wide net in scooping up producers from around the world who dial in with their open minded approach to music.

So far the catalogue has been richly varied and full of hybrid, odd-ball club music that touches on sub-heavy strains of Electro, Breaks, Minimal and Bass.

Next up is Berlin based Amand - FKA She's Drunk - who returns from a 5 year production hiatus and dovetails neatly with the label's sound. JR004 is a 4-track pack of tightly wound steppers which in his words is 'a melting pot of experiments' including a collaboration with Jamaican MC Ijahbar.

'Nuna' kicks off with a stripped back but full-bodied sound that sends cleverly braided percussion skipping over a hefty UK Funky bone-structure. Smooth synths, bashy bass tones and some trippy seasoning make for a dizzying brew.

'Step In' follows up and features Kingston based, Roolings Muzik head Ijahbar. Mangled drums, warped synth tones and chattering claps form a high-energy backing for Ijahbar's flow and the result is raw, stroppy and infectious.

'Vissi' follows up with warped Electro tool. Robotic bleeps, frazzled percussion and panned melodic blobs create a sparse, impactful bridge track that'll pop out of DJ sets with memorable force.

Sam Interface then closes things up with his take on 'Step On'. Upfront and overdriven, his revision harnesses the original whilst injecting it with a certain bouncy charm that adds yet another shade to a nicely varied record.

El track es un ejercicio de contraste: percusiones afiladas conviven con pads envolventes que parecen susurrar secretos a las 4 a. m. en una pista sudada. Hay tensión sexual y una calma letal al mismo tiempo. “Mad Love” no grita: seduce.

Lissy, que ha pasado de escribir sobre música a manipularla desde cabinas de culto como 93 Feet East, Amnesia o el rincón salvaje de Hï Ibiza, demuestra aquí una madurez sónica notable: se nota el amor por sellos como Cécille o Mood Child, pero también su impulso por romper moldes.
