'Pebbles Mind Horrors' comes straight from beyond the grave. Two old Mijo & Theus Mago collaborations that were resurrected after 5 years of burial in the cementery of Ableton projects

The opener track gives the name to the EP, a reflection of a weird nightmare, where spoken language had been abandoned and people communicated exclusively through dance moves and binary code. Robust bass, desolated synthesizers, distorted voices, glitches, and a high sugar percussion set from Rocco Desentis bring the track to life.

On the A side we have the original tracks starting with
Split Secs - Accept The Answer which is quite the slow burner, easy building up and keeping you in a state of bewilderment with weird synths, sounds and melancholic vocals floating around.

When you're still reminiscing about the first track, Franz Scala decides to up the game with his ‘Overflash’ that contains a kick that makes the walls of every room buzz. His familiar sound can be heard throughout the whole track and will for sure make every dancefloor move.

Moving over to the AA side, Split Secs has made an absolute stellar of a remix of Franz Scala unrecognizable but surely not less danceable original. Heavy bassline, dark and dreamy pads and funky percussion alternate each other in this remix which can be described in so many words, but is best to just start listening to. 

Which is exactly what also should be done to the remix by Franz Scala. Taking the slow burner by Split Secs to another tempo and level by adding his familiar sound but what makes this track so special is the synths that have been perfectly applied and will bring some heat and sweat to the dancefloor.

A fun project that was long in the making and happy it can see the light of day.

Hailing from the U.S., Minneapolis-based producer DYR (@dyr) elevates dance floors with her atmospheric, beat-forward sets that offer an eclectic blend of techno, house, and disco. Outside of the club, DYR (real name Colleen Burns) works assembling high-end effects pedals -- a position perfectly suited for a producer with a love for delay and all-things FX.

DYR’s original tracks Skippy and Hello pay homage to early 00's house and were created on a legendary Yamaha RS7000. Skippy serves up DYR's trademark grooves coupled with shimmering synths, delayed percussion, and chunky kick drums while Hello is a rolling disco ride with amped up energy and bold breakbeats. Rishi K. - Sonic Soul 54 [19th Sep 2017]

Next up is a release from Sonic Soul label boss Rishi K.

His original track "Kung Fu Disco" is a psychedelic inspired deep house track with progressive elements. It was a track that came together very easily and flowed into existence.
Embodying a solid groove with outer space vibes, this track is typical of Rishi's influences. Alternating basslines, psychedelic keys, pads and catchy deep vocals, this
is a unique treat into the inner and outer world of space funk.

Moe Turk chimes in with the first remix of this track. Known for his quality releases on such labels as Ready Mix Records, Tenor and many more. His remix is decidedly deeper
than the original with a driving groove typical of his style. Perfect for those deeper sets, this track oozes quality and not one to be missed.

The final remix is from Paul2Paul and is great final track for this release. It remains psychedelic deep house at it's heart, and adds some beautiful pads that create
a huge ambience. It is catchy and unique while staying true to the original vibe of the original track.

@neinrecords comes with another great release courtesy of @leonorofficial featuring guest remixes from Man2.0, K-Effect and Los Fugazzi.

Leonor is a Dj and producer from Guadalajara in Mexico, Under the name Osna, he has been producing techno for almost three years and released with several labels such as Studio3000 (Germany) and Krafted (England). He now presents his new project "LEONOR"  delving into the dark disco / indie scene. With this music already gaining the seal of approval from the likes of Acid Arab and Vox Low.

Fellow Mexicans Bernardo Barrera & Estuardo Flores form @los-fugazzi and provide a fantastic remix of 'Persian Fan' keeping some of the great original elements while stamping their own trademark sound on it.
