Polaris 039 – Stevie Best - Uhuru marks a new chapter for Polaris as the label kicks off 2026 with a refreshed sound and updated visual style, including a new artistic approach to cover design.

Liverpool-based artist Stevie Best on Polaris, revealing his unique sonic vision and refined musical approach. This EP blends modern club energy with emotive melodies and a subtle New Wave influence, offering tracks that move the body while engaging the mind.

The title track, “Uhuru”, opens the EP with irresistible drive. Perfectly sculpted melodies, assertive grooves, and intricate arrangements create a powerful, elegant atmosphere that immediately captivates the listener. 

The track fuses rhythmic intensity with a New Wave-inspired melodic sensibility, giving it both emotional depth and dancefloor appeal. On the B-side, “Time” takes the listener on a more experimental journey.

French artist Captain Mustache returns to Iptamenos Discos with a brand-new EP. This time, he takes us on a journey through time with his upcoming single ‘Cracks In The Glass’, featuring dynArec, accompanied by a remix from Berlin-based PRZ.

The robotic vocals and arpeggiating synths feel like a time capsule sent to us from the past, that  provides us with a glimpse of an imagined future. This is reinforced various synth stabs and hits that almost resemble laser blasts coming from a galaxy far far away. While being robotic in nature, the song rounds off beautifully and brings a touch of humanity to it through lush pads and emotional melodies.

The PRZ remix maintains that sense of futurism but brings a bit more attitude and playfulness into the mix with its funky melody and slapping drums. A dramatic breakdown leads into a climactic hands in the air moment that brings a sense of emotional and a feel good energy to the song.

The song will be released on the 28th January 2026, kicking off the new year for both the label and artists in the right way.

Michael Mayer returns to the Speicher series for his first release since last year’s brain-bursting The Floor Is Lava album. And yes, the floor is indeed lava when Mayer is on peak form, as he is here, with three tracks that oscillate, effortlessly, between the twin poles of Mayer’s music: dancefloor detonation and heart-wrenching beauty.

To be fair, there’s more of the former here, but there’s beauty in generous discipline, too, and the unrelenting “Cry Me A Raver” feels, somehow, like it brings together decades of Kompakt pleasure in six giddy minutes - disco-fied arpeggios, glistening and hand-burnished textures, abstruse patterns that fall in and out of step. “Don’t Sync With My Tag” stomps with destructive glee, a beat as undeniable as the shaker cross-rhythms are silkily sexy. There’s always been something practical, functional, and utilitarian about Speicher, but it doesn’t get more everyday DJ-life than this: Mayer tells us the title is “a super-annoying message that pops up every time you open Rekordbox. Nobody knows what it means. It’s a DJ mystery.” But who needs answers, anyway? By the time you’ve started to get close to solving the riddle, Mayer’s taken you to Detroit via Cologne with “It Isn’t What It Isn’t”, a little doffing of the cap to Rhythim Is Rhythim. “You’re May, I’m Mayer, I used to tell him,” Michael chuckles. This made one of our cats almost jump out of its skin, with its stealthy slyness – creeping, amorphous electro noise; percussives that just won’t quit; the whole thing flooded with twitchy strip-light energy and silver-machine flare-outs. 

Speicher is as Speicher does, and this is a damn good one. Make Mine Mayer!

The Madrid-based duo makes a striking debut on Mélopée Records with a finely crafted modern Italo release.

"Again" sets the tone with a contemporary house cut infused with strong Italo influences, built on a minimalist groove where every element holds its weight. The airy vocals and melancholic pads add emotional depth to the track.

With "Nostalgia," the tempo slows down, but the formula stays true. This time, the soul of Italo house is elevated by a bold trumpet sequence and bright, uplifting pads.

To close the release, we're delighted to welcome rising French talent SEIUN, who delivers a more club-ready take on "Nostalgia." Her remix offers a more indie, underground interpretation, revealing a fresh angle on the original while preserving its essence.

Mexican artists G L’e P and Pablo Gicasso debut on Roam Recordings with their EP “Route
375”.

Named after Nevada’s mysterious Route 375 - a highway known for its endless desert, mirages, and otherworldly energy - this EP captures the feeling of driving through the unknown. The sound is inspired by the raw freedom of Burning Man desert parties and by distinctive artists like Rebolledo, blending hypnotic rhythms with dusty, analog textures. 

Drawing from Los Angeles’ fashion and rock culture, NEVADA 375 also pays tribute to the city’s darker, electric pulse. Chromo channels the rebellious spirit of Chrome Hearts and the raw energy of Beastie Boys, fusing distorted guitars.

Meanwhile, Motor Disco takes us back to the 1980s - a fusion of retro disco pads and dark rock riffs, built around a mechanical rhythm that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. It’s disco with an engine, moving fast through the night.

We are proud to welcome Back From The Wave once again on the label, inaugurating the “OBSCUR” side of our catalogue. For one track, the project teams up with Umatik. Both artists originate from the south-west of France and unveil a dark, immersive EP designed to set your wild electronic nights ablaze.
“Le Bruit des Néons” is a relentless EBM weapon, driven by a deep, powerful bassline and retro-futuristic synthetic leads, all wrapped in haunting, lingering pads. Like a lost call echoing through the night, the voice drags us dangerously deep into a track perfectly tailored for peak-time tension.
Sitting at the crossroads of hypnotic techno and EBM, “Maximal Minimal” is a track that thrives on disorientation, pulling you into the vastness of the dancefloor. Your thoughts dissolve as you drift through the maze of your neural connections, carried by an efficient acid loop worthy of the finest 90s raves. Close your eyes and surrender completely.
To close this release, who better than Yan Wagner, under his The Populists moniker, to elevate “Maximal Minimal”? His numerous collaborations with renowned artists such as Arnaud Rebotini, Gesaffelstein, and Étienne Daho converge here into a shivering, radical, intoxicating and intensely electrifying remix.
Following the release of Arnault Hardy’s debut single One After Another, La Société Anonyme de Musique et de Sons opens the track back up to the collective. Three producers from the label family step in, each pulling on a different thread of the original and following it into their own corner of the dance floor.
Da Ron leans into the pulse and turns it into an ambient House weapon: rolling groove, warm low end and dreamy, textured flourishes that keep the emotional core intact while pushing the energy toward special moments.
Manu Dannenberg strips things right back for the Tunnel Vision Mix, recasting One After Another as a minimal dub strip. Space, delay and small shifts in texture do the heavy lifting here, evoking the restrained tension of Kompakt and Sender while keeping a subtle, late-night pressure.
Closing the circle, Noaria’s Diffracted Vision Mix moves away from the club and into electronica territory, refracting the melodies into hazier shapes and broken patterns that nod toward left-field English imprints. It feels less like a remix and more like a parallel version of the track, resequencing the universe Hardy’s original started.
