Infamous Hungarian party promoters, Secret Factory invites @Occam to take care of the second release on their Secret Fusion label with three remixes from Curses (@Cursesforever), La Mano and the label owners themselves providing a Secret factory remix.

Occam is a life-long drummer who has been in various bands and involved with making plenty of albums. He has played clubs and festivals from the UK to Russia and has been part of BBE artist DJ Bootsie’s live act for more than a decade. His compelling original here is ‘The Dark Slide,’ a driving bit of late night dark disco that comes with colourful melodies. A bold lead synth line goes ever higher while elastic drums get your body moving. It’s a track to step things up in the middle of the set and will do so with real style.

Berlin-based New Yorker Curses is known for blending rock & roll with the darker side of disco, his own ghostly vocals and guitar with flashes of EBM and post-punk. Here he layers in edgy chords and prickly drums that are driven by slapping hits. It’s raw and energetic with subtle 80s vibes that make it all the more standout.

The label launched in January 2019 and has featured a combination of singles and compilation releases with artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, TAPAN, Damon Jee, Biesmans, Khidja, Italo Brutalo, Shubostar, Anatolian Weapons, and Tolouse Low Trax, to name a few and its objective is to promote positive social change and raise funds for our Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous forest guardians in the Brazilian Amazon. It is information, it is energy flowing between you, me and the rest of this whole fucking beautiful world - first there was the word.

Do you know this feeling when you are in the club on the dancefloor. Your are slowly moving to the beat like you are drifting in gentle waves and you are listening with your eyes closed. You are not only listening with your ears, but with your heart and your soul. You are feeling it.  You are feeling yourselfe. You are perhaps feeling the cold bottle of your favorite brew in your hands. In distance you are feeling the crowd floating around you, drifting in the same waves and other worlds.   
All the sudden everything drops.   
No worries, no hard week behind you, no challange in front of you.  You feel free and your mind becomes empty.  You have completley arrived in this Moment and you can percive it with every cell inside your body.  It feels like finally catching up to the train you are allways running after, but rarely ride.         What life really is about.      You feel light and totally connected with everything and nothing at the same time. 
Everything thats left is the present, pure joy and music.

This is what Music meams to me and this is where i want to take you. This is what i love to share.
It can happen everywhere.
