Coming from the celebration of its 50th release with a stellar compilation including some of the most cutting-edge artists in the scene, AEON is ready again to conquer the market with a killer EP courtesy of the spanish producers Moo Moonster & Parissior.
Born Carlos Velez and Jesus Aparicio, Moo Moonster & Parissior have joined forces in a over one year long process to pay homage to their main musical influences: Cosmic, Italo and Electro. The result of these endless sessions is enclosed into Intergalactive Adventure EP, their first collaborative studio work.
This package is a perfect combination of 2 different visions united by a common denominator: Arpeggios.
“Voices” open up the EP with a view into futuristic techno sounds. With a textures which progressively increase more and more wrapped in a dark groove, the only result possible is a instant new classic which will last through the years.
Title track “Intergalactic Adventure” follows bringing you straight in orbit as the title suggest. A distinctive rhythm filled with space fx and dreamy sounds create the perfect atmosphere to drive you into your personal space travel.
Scottish hero Theo Kottis step up on remix duties with a clear idea: some banging drums, a rolling bassline and few elements from the original tune. With that in mind, his work resulted a handfully crafted hit for big dancefloors: you would not be surprised to hear it in places like Panoramabar or Circoloco’s Terrace.
Closing the package we have “The Eyes of Darkness”, a track where the duo raised the pace, being stronger and more energetic. Acidic touches and a distinctive guitar riff are doing the rest, without letting it loose the cosmic part that unites the whole package.
Once again with this EP the Berlin-based label made clear how they gained and deserved their position in the music industry.

Rising Argentinian label LOGIA Records reaches its season finale with “Velocity”, an essential 8-track EP by none other than Alex Aguayo (FREEDL038 as Mahkina) in collaboration with m i l l o, who jumped in with some post-punk overtones and Dark Disco influences to deliver “Broken”, the fourth and last but not least original of the release. Insightful remixes made with love by BT COP, Playa Del Carma, Corresponsal, and Celestino (SXDNS009) provide the icing on the cake.

If Logia is closing its 2021 activities, the same cannot be said of Alex. The Mexican producer has been having an extremely busy year so far: His originals and collaborations appeared on vital Indie Dance labels such as HEARec, Espacio Cielo, Paradiso, Boite Music, Emerald & Doreen, Odd Pleasure, Nein, Mélopée, NUFF, among others, and it is extremely possible something else will pop up before we can say “Happy 2022”. 

Premiered here, the title track, with its 119 BPM, is not as fast as its name suggests but is definitely one of the highlights of the EP. The bouncing bassline, energetic guitar-like synth layer, and melodic leads bring to life a must-have piece. It pairs perfectly with packed and filthy dance floors.

We explain: Born and raised in Lima, the beautiful Peruvian capital, Mario Rivera aka Izakaya Deployment is the man behind No Signal Records – the main imprint through which he spreads the word about his sonority with both solo releases and eventual collaborations with either local or international artists. With the freedom to bring to life whatever/whenever he feels the need, the soundscape of his themes encompasses atmospheres that vary from deep & progressive to dark & obscure, revealing not only proper production skills but also a sharp inventiveness. For “Night Of The Sun”, his forthcoming episode on his very own NSR, he welcomes Jesus Cuevas aka Tierra De Ovnis (SXDNS295), whose “Conexión” EP, released last year on mighty Duro with remixes by Thomass Jackson and Juan To Tree, put a spotlight on the Tepoztlan-based producer.

For his interpretation of “Night Of The Sun”, Jesus kept the sober and trippy atmosphere of the original, but brought the game to another turf with the infusion of more aggressive guitar-like synth riffs and friskier percussive elements, resulting in a more Dark Disco-infused cut – the exact accent sought by Jesus via his new moniker.

Team AEON is thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the Lost Tapes series where music of family members and newbies come together in one release.
The compilation will be released in 2 parts. As a subscriber and family member, you’ll get the full VA compilation including all 13 tracks in advance, exclusively!

Part 1:
We kick off the first part with a special: Italian artist Fabrizio Mammarella (one half of Black Spuma - with Lauer), who’s also well known for his skills as a remixer, releases his first solo track „Compumemory“ on AEON.
The young gun from Italy Amarcord is a true AEON family member now. His previous contributions are followed up with a punchy weapon called, „Momentum“.
We are also happy to welcome back our mysterious producer Futuristant with a nostalgic track in style and meaning „Before I miss you“. And Omri Smader with his hypnotic Italo club track „Seger Peger“, who’s latest releases on Blue Shadow & Correspondant caught a lot of attention.
These two are followed by contributions from two debutants. Berlin’s Parla (‘Permanent Vacation’), who’s bringing the early morning/afterhour burner „A World in Purple“ and Felkon from Germany with the clubby Italo shaker „Lytis“.
Last but not least, Silicodisco returns to AEON with a collaboration with DPAZ and created the retro, melodic, dark Italo dance track „Hellish Night“. A track that characterizes the both of them and the perfect track to welcome you to the second part of the Lost Tapes Vol. 5.

Part 2:
Following up on his successfull releases on Gerd Janson’s ‘Running Back’ and his latest EP on DJ Tennis’s label ‘Life & Death’, Alan Dixon kicks off part two with „Space Manoeuvres“.
AEON newbie Alex Virgo brings the Spring vibes with the happy track „Clown Car“.
After Machinegewehr’s well received „Nutant EP“ (AEON054), the Rotterdammer returns with another trippy Italo monster „Call the shots“.
Having already done a remix for „Serpentine“ by Darlyn Vlys, Micropacer is not new to the camp anymore. And we are happy to have him on board with his first solo track „The Magic Number“ on AEON.
Musumeci doesn’t need an introduction anymore. The Italian made his way in the industry with several hit remixes and solo productions on his own imprint „Multinotes“ (with Lehar) or „Permanent Vacation“, after being one of the first remixers on AEON almost a decade ago. His collaboration with Aldebaran on „Escamotage“ will stay in your ears for a while.
Hailing from Jakarta the 4th newbie Past Futura closes this 13 tracker VA with his „Viva La Discoteque“, which we couldn’t think of a better closing title in these difficult times.

After almost one year from its previous release, the Mexican label SKYCREW Records, curated by Roy Parra aka Tiempo de Maldad (SXDNS173/FREEDL008), is finally back with its freshest episode. “Encounter” is the result of the partnership between Velax and CHINOSYNTH (FREEDL021), two young and promising producers who have embraced the dark instead of the fluffy side of music aiming to deliver their vision of high-quality underground electronic music. On board, providing three awesome remixes from the two originals, Ivan De La Rouch (FREEDL022/032), Aurum Miles, and Corresponsal – equally young and dedicated to delivering dark cuts.

Premiered here, “Escape” brings the duo flirting with their Rock and EBM influences and fusing them with groovy elements in order to deliver a dance-floor-oriented beast. The vibrant and robust theme combines progressive guitar riffs with a bouncing synth layer plus sharp vocal hooks and a ghostly lead, resulting in one of the highlights of the solid EP.
