A Fine Life Remix’ EP sees PYRAME invite four exciting artists to remix this galvanising, cosmic package including Italian artist @rodion_gomma who has releases on Gomma and Les Disques De La Mort, London’s @days_of_being_wild, Love On The Rocks’ artist @dancewithomer and French electronic masters @acid-washed, fronted by Andrew Claristidge.

‘Losing Control’ Days of Being Wild remix begins proceedings with effervescent oscillations, ecstatic pads in the distance and undulating euphoria before Omer’s remix of ‘Where Are We Now?’ deploys vibrant percussive loops, fluttering cosmic synths and enrapturing melodies.

Acid Washed then progresses into a chugged-out remix of ‘A Fine Life’ delivering low-slung bass grooves, tranquil pad sweeps and warming vocals until Rodion’s interpretation of ‘Platonic’ finishes things off with acid-tinged elements, eccentric vocals from Moon Wave and pulsating modulations keeping the energy flowing throughout.

Howling at the Moon dives deeper into the night, driven by hypnotic percussion, dark synth
stabs, and haunting vocals that summon a sense of collective trance. The track builds toward a

tango-esque groove where rhythms subtly intertwine.

Closing the EP, You & I stands apart — restored from a nine-year-old lost writing session, this

Solee - Impressed (2019 Rework - Cut)

https://soundcloud.com/sinchicollective is a not for profit label that donates all proceeds to their own foundation, supporting the preservation of indigenous culture. After two fantastic releases already, the third offering is a various artists compilation that shows off the label’s broad array of sounds from producers all over the world.

Up first is a rising star and Milan based selector, Tagliabue. He takes stylistic cues from the natural environment around him and breaks down genre boundaries. His ‘Canto Nativo’ is a brilliantly tropical bit of chugging disco with breezy pads but twisted bass.

Gimel connects ambient, psychedelic sounds with deep, melodic moods, he plays at renowned clubs such as Opium and runs the ‘Samsara’ events in Vilnius. Here he offers ‘Dobilelis’ a superbly transcendental cut that is littered with vocal chanting and rugged bass riffs that really cast a spell.

Raised in the heart of the Middle East, Rabih delivers ‘Bowing Pill’, a track moulded by rolling synths, heavy drums and a hypnotic flow that stimulates your body and brain.

Mexican Braulio Renteria draws on dark disco and is inspired by futuristic, deep and unique rhythms. He offers the vital ‘Venus’, a moody and heavyweight cut with punky attitude and cosmic keys making for a real trip.

Play Pal Music founder Teniente Castillo who has a rich history of releases on labels such as Ombra Intl, Relish and Nein amongst others, delivers ‘Personality Goes a Long Way’ . This is sci-fi, low slung machine music with retro flavours which has a compelling starkness in the hits and synths.

Last of all, Andreja Salpe and Filip Polski aka BarumBarum follow up on the success of their ‘Ritual’ EP released on the same label by closing out the fantastic compilation with the desert chants and rugged drum work of ‘Sensation.’

This is a widely infused collection of disco tracks that take you around the world with a real sense of style.

Save this name: Braulio Renteria, a young Mexican artist, makes his official debut as a producer on the awe-inspiring project Sinchi Collective – a multifaceted music platform that includes a label, a DJ collective, an event promoter, a mix series and a blog. The Collective also established the Sinchi Foundation, which is a non-profit that upholds the UN’s declaration on the rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and promotes the strength and beauty of indigenous cultures.

Regarding their third release, Altered States Vol. I is a various artists compilation that shows off the label’s broad array of sounds of producers from all over the world. The track we chose to premiere, ‘Venus’, is a “moody, heavyweight cut with punky attitude and cosmic keys”, the right elements “for a real trip”, according to the label’s description.

We asked “Braulitro” to say a few words about himself and his work: "My inspiration when creating tracks with this energy comes from my influences and experience in the DJ booth, my style is defined by many as dynamic, full of funny percussions and organic sounds, like guitars and wind instruments. I have always been passionate about music, especially the alternative rock, and science fiction movies, and that is exactly what I wanted to reflect on 'Venus', the energy of my DJ sets, my taste for music and an extra-terrestrial sensation as a sci-fi film". And he successfully did it!

Hot on the heels of the Fine Life EP, comes a set of remixes from another berliner Pyrame. Our pick is an acid laced vocal club cut reworked and rewired by the recently betrothed Rodion. 
Snappy snares, a wobbly 303 and a reminder that 'everything's gone and gone and gone and gone' highlight the fact that if this track gets dropped in the wee small hours in a packed sweatbox, all bets will be off. Having cut his teeth at Berlin's Renate, and having released tracks on Gomma, La Belle and Astrolab among others, Rodion knows how to work a dancefloor and this bubbly acid laden stomper proves it and then some.

Since 2019 they have established their label of the same name with the sort of sounds they play in their tasteful yet experimental house, disco and techno sets.Their first original is ‘Hashen Tashen’, a brilliantly melodic track with rich xylophones and rubbery drums getting you on your toes. Cosmic pads add future vibes and the whole thing is stylishly slick and serene.First to remix is Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Terr who is making waves on labels like Phantasy Sounds. Her version is an intense affair with driving drums and lasers shooting across the face. It has ping-pong melodies and frazzled synth lasers that all bring raw energy. Then comes London’s MAN2.0, a man who takes cues from 80s synth, EBM and “toy instruments from charity shops” amongst other things. Andrew Weatherall is a fan and will likely appreciate the macho twisted disco of this twisted chugger.The final hurrah is Secret Factory’s ‘No Garbage Please’, a breezy cosmic house cut with more meticulous melodies and pads. Well treated vocals are another subtlety that ensures this is further winning effort.

Sinchi Collective is a multifaceted music platform. Including a label, event promoter, mix/edit series and blog (which showcases our favourite soon to be released music). 

The label launched in January 2019 and has featured a combination of singles and compilation releases with artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, TAPAN, Damon Jee, Biesmans, Khidja, Italo Brutalo, Shubostar, Anatolian Weapons, and Tolouse Low Trax, to name a few and its objective is to promote positive social change and raise funds for our Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous forest guardians in the Brazilian Amazon.
