The latest addition to @Roam-Recordings features San Francisco veteran artist @ShinyObjects111 aka Chris Smith. A pillar in the Bay Area community Chris Smith is the founder of San Francisco’s Om Records, Smoke n' Mirrors, Up All Night, Monarch & The Great Northern. As a producer he has released over 100 tracks and remixes under the Shiny Objects moniker and other aliases. For his second release on Roam, Shiny Objects delivers two stunning original tracks. The title track Bad Acid is a gritty dark chugger with a post punk feel while Disco Death Child is a deep shimmering groover that’s nice and easy to get lost in.

Joining the EP is acclaimed Italian producer Rodion and Mexican producer @Inigovontier.

The latter providing a sterling remix of Disco Death Child which furthers his reputation as one of the key figures  defining the sound of Mexico’s bustling underground music scene.

Italian producer @DinoLenny is the Fine Human Records label head who has been making music since the 90s. He's remixed huge names such as Missy Elliott and Timbaland and has collaborated with everyone from Madonna to Wu Tang Clan to Seth Troxler & Dixon. He has been named 'A wizard of electronic music' by the Chemical Brothers, played live with Underworld, released music on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic & Correspondant, and is currently signed to Ellum.

For his debut release on @Roam-Recordings, Lenny delivers a stunning EP titled 'Tokyo'. The original mix showcases Lenny's original vocals woven into a dance ballad that could fit into any classic set of 80s electronica.

On remix duties are The Black Mami and long time Roam alumni Damon 
Jee.

Play Pal’s label boss Teniente Castillo from Spain capital is back home with this new mental release, including 3 original tracks + remixes from dream team Thomass Jackson, Theus Mago, and this terribly good version from New-Yorker producer Rigopolar. He switched the mood to a slo-mo groove monster by adding scrapping synths and rolling rhythmic, delivering a heavy and mysterious remix, definitely built for massive sound systems. One half of esteemed house duo Waifs and Strays, Amos, launches his new alias: Part Time Lover. Debuting on Crosstown Rebels with Don’t Hesitate, the EP is a stunning six track release that features vocals from Danielle Moore and Oli Gosh, as well as remixes from PBR Streetgang

The EP opens with Don’t Hesitate. A pure house groover, Oli Gosh’s vocals provide the track with a seductive flare, whilst the swinging bassline rolls alongside dynamic pulsing keys. Second up is the dub version of Don’t Hesitate. Stripped back yet still wholesome, the mix features whirring pads. Tied comes next, as Danielle Moore’s incredible soulful vocals coat the record with a dance-ready warmth. PBR Streetgang are first up on remix duties, providing an acid-flecked reinterpretation of Tied that harks back to the 80s with electro-like synths and distorted kicks, before their dub mix continues in a similarly driving vein.

English vocalist Oli Gosh has featured on Dutch house music label Armada Deep. Danielle Moore has been the lead singer of Crazy P since 2002, releasing on the likes of Wolf Music Recordings and Smoke ‘N’ Mirrors. PBR Streetgang released their standout album Late Night Party Line last year on the esteemed Skint label.

Mexican music manufacturer Iñigo Vontier continues to ride the wave of psychedelic infused electronics to great resolution. Following the release of last month's taster, titled the 'Xu Xu' EP, Vontier returns to Chloé's creatively liberating Lumière Noire Records for the release of his debut album. Spread across 9 tracks, his first leap in long player territories sees the Latin American DJ and producer embark on an innovative exploration of demented grooves, psychedelic take-offs and imaginary comic strips of mystical rituals.

For the occasion, the Calypso Records head honcho has called upon a group of closely associated adventurers to collaborate. In the case of 'Awaken', the track we've the pleasure of airing here today, we witness the reinstallation of the already battle proven combination of Iñigo Vontier, together with Thomas Von Party and John Shape under their Drugface alias. A slowly developing burner that glides towards an unraveling dimension of hypnosis is the result, before its ethereal releasing point kicks in midway.

The label launched in January 2019 and has featured a combination of singles and compilation releases with artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, TAPAN, Damon Jee, Biesmans, Khidja, Italo Brutalo, Shubostar, Anatolian Weapons, and Tolouse Low Trax, to name a few and its objective is to promote positive social change and raise funds for our Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous forest guardians in the Brazilian Amazon.
