The Chilean producer Julian Garcia-Reyes under his project JGR, comes back to ODD Pleasures after releasing ‘Silk Android’ in the second ODD Pleasures V.A Compilation released earlier this year. This time the producer and important DJ of the Spanish Indie-Dance scene delivers two powerful tracks driven by bouncy bass lines combined with 80’s influenced spicy beats, his signature acid synths full of psychedelia blended with dark melodies and immersive atmospheres are the main ingredients of this journey to outer space.
The two originals are complemented with two remixes by Radial Gaze and Balam, which bring the originals to a whole new dimension, imprinting their vision and unique re-interpretation to round up this heavy package.
Radial Gaze’s reinvention of “Rocket Trip” imparts his twisted hypnotic flavors to the original, delivering a mind drilling experience. While Balam takes “Acid Trama” to an electrifying trance of latin percussion, wild synths and ghosty vocals.

It looked like a normal night under the stars.
In the forest clearing, people were building the stage and setting up the scenery for
midnight's big rave.
Alice came to dance but arrived too early to the party.
While she was sitting outside the camp she saw a funky monkey jumping right in front of
her.
She heard a whisper but wasn't sure, so she started to follow the little monkey.
Out of the blue she fell down, or was she climbing up?
It all ended very quickly and, to her surprise, nothing seemed to changed around her.
On her way back to the camp she started to hear dark, psychedelic electronic music.
Very quietly she could hear a mantra saying “Petit Monde... Petit Monde..”
She was drawn to the intoxicated voices.
As she arrived, she was shocked to find the camp was full of people, all standing still in front
of the DJ booth and humming the mantra.
Slowly she walked inside. People cleared the way for her to pass all the way to the DJ.

Suddenly a strong light appeared and the DJ pointed out at her and shouted-
Danse Alice!!

And the party started.

Axel Picodot hits hard with « No Future », his first full album made of 11 tracks. This is a homemade production, in his very own label built with Ruben Hassid and Nico Moreno. This one year old structure signed the names of tomorrow’s industrial techno, such as Paramod, Tim Tama or Haedes. 
At first sight, the album seems purely violent. Industrial techno cares the illusion of creating a disorder, chaos out of music. That’s why death is omnipresent in Axel’s works, reminding we’re all damned to die anyway. 
However, the message wants to be clear: industrial techno puts us in a timeless environment, escaping from the future. As night walkers, we silently cross the warehouse, eager to dance. Be obsessed by the present, abandon your future.
