The label was launched in 2019 and has featured a combination of singles and compilation releases featuring artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, TAPAN, Damon Jee, Biesmans, Khidja, Anatolian Weapons, and Tolouse Low Trax to name just a few. The Machine Soul, AKA Robert Folkesson. Robert was part of the early rave and house scene in Stockholm, dj-ing at various underground warehouse parties and legendary clubs like Deep in Bleep, Monday Bar and Le Garage. The Machine Soul is Roberts’s brain child for producing deep and groovy downtempo, tech and deep house - plus the occasional acid techno attack - released on labels like Hug Records @hugrecords EKORD @ekordmusic , When Disco Goes Wrong, Paisley Dark Records @yeadonred and his own label Machine Soul Records.

You can spot him from time to time doing live and dj sets - often together with his wingman Mindbender - @marten-attling
