Premiere: MUNDO D - Digitor [Side UP Works]

The beginning of the year for Logia Records is undoubtedly marked by the landing of the multifaceted Argentine artist Panko, co-founder of U'reguay Records, an Argentine-Uruguay based label that has burst onto the electronic scene in a powerful way.

“Electra” is an EP with hard sounds, with a strong Dark-Disco presence, with voices transformed like the sky during an electrical storm.

This release features a remix by Guyd, a French artist who gives his unmistakable European touch, an Acid Menace Remix by the great Mexican producer, a friend of the house, Ludviq, and closes with a remix by our Cu Da Curuxa.

Tronik Youth - Kill It

Local Suicide will release their long-awaited debut album ‘Eros Anikate’ on their label Iptamenos Discos on 13th May. The title translates to ‘love invincible’ and draws influence from Sophocles’ play, ‘Antigone’ - an ancient Greek play based around tragedy in the aftermath of a civil war. ‘Eros Anikate’ will showcase the duo's renowned ‘technodisco’ sound, blending retro with modern elements, alongside moody baselines and haunting vocals, whilst featuring an array of exciting collaborators and friends including Curses, Hard Ton, Skelesys, Lee Stevens, The Hidden Cameras, Sissi Rada, Theus Mago, Kalipo, and Greek new wave legend Lena Platonos.

The Vinyl Depreciation Society is Nick Willcocks and Ben Wijay, originally from Devon, England. 

Their production style straddles deep house, indie dance, nu-disco and melodic techno, consistent undertones of psychedelia and wonk.

2021 saw releases on Diynamic, Get Physical and Days Of Being Wild, which gleaned several Beatport Top 20 spots. 

This forthcoming Transitioning EP is a six tracker set for release in August 2022. It's already been receiving love from Francois Kevorkian, DJ Harvey, Daniele Baldelli, Sasha, DJ T, Solomun, Justin Robertson, Mandrake, Curses, Chloe, Sean Johnston (ALFOS), Guy Gerber and Maceo Plex.

PREMIERE: The Vinyl Depreciation Society - Number Two

Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro’s international groove compilation "Muy Duro". For this volumen the Mexican record label dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from Israeli, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU’s duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze.

The opener is "Canned Shoes" by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It’s followed by "I Unfollow", the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with "Mondo3000", a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.

Next up is "Wasen" by Moisees and ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is "Error 707" by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.
