Esoterik and dxrvo are DJ and Producer from Germany, Hannover. They run a label called Kollektiv Synergie with friends. There they release every Thursday a podcast series with international artists. also you can find some releases there. Esoterik stands out for fast and driving techno. dxrvo loves hypnotic, groovy and fast minimalistic techno. The mix is a mixture of both. Esoterik has made some releases on Synergie. For this edition of the mix series, we invited both DJ and producer Jan Goertz. His productions as well as his mixes are refined and versatile as he explores the different atmospheres and subgenres of techno. Inspired by the club culture as he believes techno is "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for." 

The mix showcases a selection of 48 tracks through an unconventional way of mixing by using loops to create unity. 4-deck mixing and playing with a variety of elements is how he keeps the listener on their toes. His soulful track selection and minimalist approach give this mix character.

This week we are joined by the Norwegian DJ and producer Takt. Musical expression has been a journey of development for her. From groovy and playful to up-tempo with tribal influences, high quality productions have always been her main focus. Her passion for techno has made her an appreciated producer and DJ. With performances at Amsterdam and Oslo, she has been a central figure in the scene, being part of numerous electronic music concepts and collectives.

In this particular set, I aimed to find the sweet spot between a high-energy pace, minimal beats, and a vibe that is both danceable and dreamy. The goal was to create a sound that would be perfect for a club environment, while still maintaining an ethereal quality."
