Having passed through the BR finishing school with flying colours (dude even got a rousing ovation as a graduation gift), our Parisian alumnus Lucien is honing in on Ventura full time. This here giveaway precursors a full EP from the man; downtempo, live instrumentation with a serious coup of an engineer sat behind the mixing desk (that we're being told to keep tight-lipped for the minute; sorry about that).

"Spiralling Palm Tree" sounds nothing like it though. Cutesy piano riffs spill over one another, unaware of the juddering wallop beneath, while a strange Dreijer-esque hook rattles around, winching its way to the front. It's the happy mark of an overactive mind – ditto the vaporwave-y art.
