Laszlo Barany aka. Leap Seconds was born in North East Hungary. Having lived in the United Kingdom for over a decade, he has now returned to his roots and moved back to Budapest, to find further inspiration in his home country. " I prefer not to define my taste of music. I love to play a variety of styles from Ambient, Chill Out ,Electronica,Deep House to Organic House through Progressive House. When assorting music for a mix, the key points I look for are emotions and meaningful melodies. These are important aspects that I also apply in my productions. I love to express my emotions through music and sounds, as these are much better story-tellers than words." Currently on a mission to bring you chill out vibes, feature local singers and showcase Ireland’s beautiful scenery, WOB! spent this summer exploring the west coast of Ireland, using the fantastic weather and the dramatic landscape of the Wild Atlantic Way as inspiration to produce a series of tracks.

The first of these tracks is a liquid tune called ‘Falling With Me’, featuring Dubh Lee. Her gentle tone perfectly complements the relaxed, emotional vibe that the song delivers to the listener.

The video was filmed at Achill Island’s annual Battle for the Lake and features incredible kitesurfing shots from the festival, along with footage of WOB!’s live performance on the main stage with his 5pc band.

Syncopate is an energetic track about disturbance of the regular flow of life, it forces the listener to slow down, acknowledge and enjoy the small details in between.

WOB! used the art of syncopation in creating this infectious dance track to provide the listener with a sense of enjoying a beat within a beat, all while blending house, D&B and oriental motifs.

Always committed to artistic collaboration, WOB! teamed up with artists from Poland to create the visuals for Syncopate. Directed by Okime Emiko, the video’s weird and wonderful vibe was created using analogue effects, reminiscent of WOB!’s concept of using live drums and performing electronic music with a 4pc band.

Syncopate is out on all major streaming platforms from 15th of March.

The Orient Express was a long-distance passenger train service created in 1883. On its journey between Paris and Constantinople the train also stopped in Serbia. 

Irish producer WOB! was born in Serbia exactly 100 years later, in a country where western and eastern cultures have interwoven for centuries.

“I wanted to write a song to express the cocktail of oriental and electronic music I grew up listening to. “

Always committed to artistic collaboration, WOB! teamed up with Paris based singer Eva Syra who adds the final French connection to the fast paced journey through time and culture.

Orient Express is available on all major digital platforms from 27th of September 2019, with a single launch show in Sin E Dublin on the same date.
