Rudimental feat. Bipolar Sunshine - Distance (BACARDÍ Beginnings)

After the last collaboration which saw them go out successfully on
Desolat, the label Loco Dice, finally and after so much hard work they
have completed their first album on Beatwax Records and have
entitled it “A Young Long Trip”. Aldo Cadiz & Ricky Erre Love have now
been collaborating for two years sharing their ideas, dreams and
experiences.They are trying to get something positive across through a
unique audio experience that evolves over time. Although their stories
are different, they are interwoven in an artistic partnership, made
homogeneous and uniform through the use of hypnotic grooves that
are deep and overwhelming, and always enriched by delicate and
loving melodies that have made this project become a reality.We are
expecting an album that is intimate, engaging and full of surprises.
From Chile to Italy a long young trip continues!

New piece of music I wrote for an installation collaboration with The Principals.

Showing  9/30 - 10/5 2014 at Neuehouse, NYC. Commissioned by SONOS.

Moving metal fabric created by The Principles responds to the various frequencies of the music I wrote. Interacting together to create a wave like sensation. A microphone is also set up to pick up sounds in real time to also move the metal fabric.

Fabrizio Lapiana is an italian DJ, producer and a founder of Attic Music, based in Rome. He started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit . His dj sets are characterised by his incorporation of the old school aesthetic into his club-based material, that makes his approach kind of unique.

Fluidly moving from ambient/drone to techno and dub, Lapiana's mix for Bassiani is a 115-minute excursion into the mind-bending textures, that allows the artist to share his favourite tracks from varying areas of sonic world and quality dance music.
