My name is Jamie Lidell and I'm gonna delve into the heady magic of creating music in a modern studio, probe the depths of production, get tech crazy with mixing tricks, studio skills and equipment. I'll be joined by fellow musicians, engineers and all-round audiophiles who kindly share their tips, stories and ingenious insight from the bizarre world of music production. I shall answer questions and seek knowledge from other music makers on a quest to discover how to make things sound RIGHT. I will also share some studio trickery on each episode as I explore some of my favourite innovations in music tech and my creations... outpourings from the weirdo brain! Welcome to a place for musicians, producers and listeners alike as we "cheers" our love of everything audio.

Based in the south west of England, Tristan a professional jazz and swing singer known for his powerful baritone voice and soulful, earnest deliveries of standards old and new.

An experienced performer he has worked regularly for over a decade with shows hosted in main stage theatres, arts centres and clubs to corporate and private work. Tristan is also available for blues, soul and general function gigs.

Inspired by nights and nights and days and days rolling into years and years , sitting and learning songs and prayers from Maureenji, Carioca, Mao Tanka , Ninawa Pai De Mata and Chana Icacuru of the Huni Kuin, Amu Ahava, Rainer Scheunenbrand, the Yawanawa, The temple of the way of light in the Shipibo tradition of Icaros, and in hundreds of singing circles with my good friend George Barker, I slowly gathered a collection of sweet songs, touched by the medicine of all those hearts, and inspired by the mantras, meditations and prayers of my friends and teachers, the circles in Ibiza and London and Ciranda, and the songs from Brazil, Peru and Columbia as well as Israel, India and Ibiza and Osho and Adrian and the Eternal Heart.

I've Been playing, composing, writing, arranging, recording, mixing, mastering, engineering, producing music of all genres..Playing electric guitar, Slide, Dobro, Nylon Guitar, Bass, Accordion, Flute, Keyboards, Piano, Organ, Synthesizer, Vibraphone, Harmonica, Drums & Percussion since I was 10 years old, self taught.. many different styles and genres to choose from. These songs are the representation of a lifetime's work!
