This is the third phase of a three-phase sequence over the course of as many weeks during which, consecutively and asynchronously, musicians build trios together.

3 instruments: 1 double bass and 2 prepared pianos.
One beat every 6 seconds, plus a 4 second delay for the first piano (mallets) and a 7 second delay for the second piano.

Traces the various routes that @33per 's first junto0636 track took and subsequently manifested itself in duos and trios. Sprinkled and chopped a bit improvisational extras here and there.

My second piece is a cross between points 2 and 3.
As a starting piece I chose the piece by encyn, a true gem of this compilation.
I recovered what was originally supposed to be my 637, then abandoned because the track had already been chosen. In this case without channel limitations.
Starting from this 636 I followed the family tree and chose some 637s and 638s to mix on the starting track.

Disquiet Junto Project 0650: Doppler, Interrupted
The Assignment: Record a piece of music in which a passing siren blossoms into something else entirely

The siren I used as raw material is an excerpt from my work with Sound Obsessed x Sónar+D: Temporal Tide

The collection of A/V pieces is currently exhibited at Sonar Festival in Barcelona. It's a collective work I enjoyed being part of https://www.soundobsessed.com/temporaltide

For my part of the exhibition piece "Exploring global temperatures since  1750" I processed Earth Surface Temperature Data for several cities as control voltage in VCV Rack. Noah Pred wrote a wonderful article about his sonification tool for  Ableton and how people approached the sonification task for Temporal Tide: https://manifest.audio/temporal-tide

Low Tide is inspired from that work. I heavily processed the siren and the first bleeps from the incoming
data in audacity (simulating a doppler effect, of sorts). I processed that sound in VCV Rack and added a synth from my Ksoloti Gills (Tiar SpaceViolin).

Music can make you feel better, calm you down, lighten the situation or help you relax. So wouldn't it be great if you could call an orchestra in an emergency?

This track follows the inspiration of the Disquiet Junto 0650 project and gives you the opportunity to listen to an orchestral ambulance passing by.
