For this premier release, we enlisted the sonic programing of Native C, and he delivers two <2> caches of dirty tech funk sure to make even the most casual listener nodding along. </h1>

<h2> Trojan Horse gets things moving with a striped break before the vocal skills of Verbivore cut through with lyrical warnings of a dystopian takeover from the streets behind the guise of a Trojan Horse. From there the drop brings this full throttle stepper to life. Heavy drums, twisted distorted squelch bass stabs layered with an almost ethereal female voice weaving in and out to create a soundscape of both tension and beauty. </h2>

<h3>To call Sunshine the “B Side” is misleading. Do not let the title fool you, this is a heavy heavy dance floor workout begging to be rinsed out on a large rig. Once the track drops the ominous metallic synth line gets to work and does not let go. It surrounds you in its energy and keeps on moving. An evolving bass line and mid bass stabs keeps the tension in the perfect place all the way through. You have been warned with this one…

We are pleased to present you Vienna-based newcomer "Sequent" (@sequentdnb) for the sixth episode of our podcast.

„Sequent“ is a DJ and producer from Austria, who developed her interest for drum & bass in the early teenage years. She started collecting vinyl at the age of 14 and only two years later, she discovered the love for mixing.

As a DJ, she played many gigs such as 'Mainframe', 'Beat it' at FLEX, 'Kolo Rave' with the Error crew or 'Drumfabrik' in Upper Austria and had her first international appearances in Czech Republic and Slovakia as well. She gained more and more notoriety with her mainly deep, dark and tech-driven sets and her sharp mixing skills which led to an interview and guestmix on the infamous Slovakian radio show 'Signall_FM'. In January 2020, Sequent started to launch her monthly mix series 'Sunday Sessions' together with Vienna based DJ „Aras“. 

As a producer, Sequent released her debut EP 'Thread'  with her collab partner „Skruff“ on 'Blu Saphir Recordings' in November 2019 and is now part of the label-rooster. In addition, she has two single releases on 'Mainframe Recordings' and another track coming up on 'Deep Within' and gained support from e.g. Camo & Krooked, DJ Marky and HLZ.

Immerse yourself into this one hour mix, containing own productions, unreleased material and an exclusive selection of modern dark drum & bass.
