The music of Belbury Poly is, by turns joyous, naive or shot through with terror and supernatural wonder. Parallel world TV soundtracks and nostalgia for an imaginary past. A haunting mix of vintage electronics, folk, krautrock, and library music. 
Jim Jupp is co-manager of UK label Ghost Box Records. As Belbury poly he’s released EPs, singles and six albums on the label. He is also a member of The Belbury Circle along with Jon Brooks (of The Advisory Circle) and occasional collaborator, John Foxx. He’s remixed tracks for several artists including John Foxx and Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral) and has co-written a song with Paul Weller for his 2020 album On Sunset.

Ghost Box is a record label for a group of artists exploring the musical history of a parallel world. The roster includes The Advisory Circle, The Focus Group,  Pye Corner Audio, Belbury Poly and Beautify Junkyards. Guest artists include Broadcast, Cavern of Anti-Matter, John Foxx and Paul Weller

GIBBS first set his paws on turntables around 2011 and immediately loved the feeling of pure zen while behind the decks. Since then he’s never snubbed an opportunity to make the crowd groove. Clubs, festivals, house parties, and community events; no gig is off limits. While pure House may describe his overall sound, Disco, Diva, and Deep always make an appearance!

Lately GIBBS has been expanding his soundscape, dipping into dark pounding Techno and even dabbling in the meditative sounds of world/multicultural music.

Through this sonic journey there is just one constant, a love for music and community alike.
As the music scene in Central Arkansas is slowing down, GIBBS took this as a chance to start it back up by organizing his own events and be an MC while giving young DJs a chance to play for the crowd.
