Alex Urquhart aka "Alikat" spent years as a bedroom dj before daring to break into the competitive dj scene, but doing so he mastered his skills to the point of slamming a flawless set for his first public appearance at an outdoor electronic event he co produced in late 2012.

Since then he has been a regular at NSW north coast parties (also appearing at the highly acclaimed Rabbits Eat Lettuce Festival in 2014, 2015) and boasts a residency at one of Darwin's top tourist destinations during his time living there in 2013.

Alikat's love for dance music gained from a very young age, and has seem him develop into a confident creature of a dj whose passion is understood by all that hear him play. From tearing progressive trance and mid tempo broken beats, to soulful uplifting deep house and nu disco styles, this furry feline is bound to bring the inner beat beast out in any dancing in his wake.
