The spirit of the hawk, intentionally chosen to be the one to guide, protect, and teach him through his journey in this life. His newest EP “Little Hawk” is paying homage to his heritage and to those who came before him; his mother, aunt, uncle, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Though the issues he sings about are his own, they are sung about in honor to the loss and pain the Abenaki people have felt, lived, and triumphed over. We are still here.
