Welcome to the world of mysteries and spies! With the use of some haunting guitar chords reminiscent of the classic James Bond movie theme, being then contrasted with an uplifting chorus, this song juxtaposes the dark and light that can be seen in the world of intelligence. Inspired by the book of Gordon Thomas, “Inside British Intelligence”.

 “When reading through the first pages of Thomas’ book, it sketched in my mind a very cinematic picture of the MI5 or MI6 boss sitting behind a computer at Admiral Nelson’s desk, checking and orchestrating all the chess pieces in the spy game; ultimately helping us all in the fight for preserving our freedom. It would be a curious fact and destiny in a way that it would be that desk that used to be on the Victory ship during the time of its dangerous but victorious endeavours at sea against the French. My name is Dom Reynolds and I'm a singer-songwriter, musician, audio-engineer, actor and educator.

I am currently writing and recording with Belgium-born musician Jozef Birling. Having played together formerly in a group called Infra Red during the late ‘noughties’, we reconvened in the 2020s by jamming and then preparing a set of covers for live street performance.  Once we discovered that we have similar musical and artistic tastes, and that our original songs fitted well together, we created an album of newly-penned songs in an eclectic but rootsy style. The album is entitled Change the Plan, and is available for streaming or for purchase at domreynolds.com and Bandcamp.  Our next album, Roast Dinner Drive, came out in the summer of 2023. 

Excitingly, we also have an exciting new album in preparation -with a working title Love and Pain- scheduled for release in 2024. Since January we have been releasing a single from the album every six weeks, and will continue doing so until the album is released in the autumn, and beyond. This means you can get a regular fix of our new music! We are also planning some studio-recorded cover versions of songs by such legends as The Beach Boys and The Doors!

We have recently been joined by B Just (desperateBeauty), who is playing drums and percussion for the band for their live shows, Ethan on bass and Alex on backing vocals and acoustic guitar. The band is called  Dom Reynolds Derelicts.
