Good day, brethren & sisters! Hope every one of you are doin' well. As for myself, I've been tryin'a stay on the up n' up musically, as it gets even more challenging with time to stay valid. Seems we're bombarded with so much music these days, it's just that much harder to do so. Although, I mustn't fret because I've faith that there's more than a enough room for me in this cold, God-forsaken industry. Don't wanna seem bitter towards the game that I benefit so much from, but the game does indeed come with stipulations- obstacles that make it hard for someone like me to continue making music for YOU.

Anyhoot, on to the reason you've come. The first and foremost record I have for you is called "My Side". This one was made with the intention to cater to the mainstream audience. My main reason for dabblin' is because I don't do it very often- if at all. I will acknowledge that I carry hints of trendy-esque cadences, words (ig. shawty), instrumentals, etc. However, I never really have taken the sound of which head on. This is a first for me and certainly not the last, I'm sure. Of course, let me know how I did- if you don’t like it, I’ll do better next time.

At the beginning stage of writing, I faced a few challenges in finding what the concept of the song would be. I really didn't wanna sound too generic (which probably would've worked out anyway because that's almost all- if not ALL of mainstream; Generic), but also didn't want to take away from keeping it simple. With those thoughts in mind, I feel I did pretty well in staying within the margins.

You’ll notice the theme for the Dark Horse Double is based on this year's motion picture "Beauty and The Beast”. That’s simply because I liked the movie (although the original was better haha), and thought it’d be a good way to mark the timeframe of the release. I don’t know about you, but certain music can bring back memories (good/bad) of events that took place at the time I heard it. That’s exactly what I wanted to capture with the artwork. Hopefully it actually works- so let me know if it does or not.
