Funny story: I made this beat a while ago with the intention of putting vocals over it, but then I forgot it was supposed to have vocals, so I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. I ended up giving up on the track, and it would still be sitting in my hard drive right now collecting dust if it weren’t for James, aka DARQ DAGR. He hit me up one day because he wanted to collaborate, and I told him I was neck-deep busy, so I didn't know when we could actually make something. Almost immediately, I thought to myself, “Let me show him some tracks that I just never finished,” and I ended up showing him this one. He liked it, and he quickly recorded some placeholder vocals for it just to see how it sounded over the track. When he sent it to me, I remember thinking to myself, “Holy shit! We may have something here, lol.” Anyways, the moral of the story is, don't forget about the tracks you have sitting in your hard drive.
