There it is. My "Bugfix" is officially live. This is a high energy anthem from the upcoming album "Rereplay Lvl2" representing the sound of the grind and the correction of the code.

To move forward we must optimize the source. That is why "Rereplay Lvl1.5" is dropping at the same time. Think of it as the ultimate bugfix for Lvl1. I am revisiting the roots and refreshing the foundation.

Both projects release simultaneously to mark the grand finale of my first year in the game.

Italy's Samosa Records come correct once again with another clutch of tasty edits of 'Funk Purpose Vol. 1', and this purple-flavoured rework from Shit Hot Soundsystem is particularly useful. The English producer is a fast-rising name on the edits scene, and with cuts like this you can easily see why.

It was Memorial Day Weekend 2016, and the sun shined bright over the Detroit River. Pontchartrain stepped up to the decks at the Red Bull stage at Movement Electronic Music Festival donning his infamous "Detroit vs. Itself" t-shirt. His first song through the Rane rotary mixer was a dubplate made specifically for his set: “Afterlife”. It’s a brilliantly executed daytime disco rework that warrants the praise of summer anthem that it’s earning. 

On the flip is “Pool”, an equally sunny slomo beatdown rework from Blair French. It's a delightful blend of cerebral and soulful, and is finally getting a release after being originally championed by Peter Croce on his Le Mellotron Paris set back in early 2018. 

This 7" is pressed heavy and cut loud at 33.3 RPM with a normal non-dinked hole.
