Diynamic Music's sister label 2DIY4 are announcing the release of a rework by one of their newest additions, Undercatt. The Italian pair recently remixed The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’, and managed to flip it from a once bright shining pop track into a true underground anthem with a great sense of style. It is a track you will have heard if you were at the Destino Ibiza closing when Solomun finished his set with the piece, to great receptions and big reactions.

Sweet Disposition (Undercatt Remix) is out on December 11th on 2DIY4.

Stephan Bodzin: a classically trained musician, vastly experienced producer and master of melody. Opening with the brooding and thought-provoking cosmic stabs of the aptly titled ‘Inception’, Woo York guide you through a fluid-like path across ‘Chasing the Dream’, offering fluttering synths on ‘Walk Along The Rainbow’ and a rattling percussive core to ‘There Is A Light.’ Their signature 303 magic hints at acid on ‘Through Peaks and Valleys’, and there is ice-cold ambience to finish in ‘Rise’ and an alternate mix of the title track. The time has come for the third and final release of exclusive cuts from the Adana Twins mix compilation. Kicking things off is Aaaron’s ‘Muir’ where organic grooves lay the groundwork for ethereal melodies and sinister vocal calls before Adana Twins ‘Ocelotes’ picks up the pace as powerful percussives oppose robust sonic displays of emotion. 

Following suit of the previous track, Andre Hommen steps up next and delivers a vigorous journey where an unrelenting arpeggio drives forward at high velocity creating a wild and impassioned ride before Daniel Bortz and Sascha Sibler’s ‘Yuppie’ draws back the intensity level to deeper, dub infused territories where groove is paramount. 

‘Gazebo’ from Human Machine picks up the energy level once again as hi pace drums and rapid fire melodies culminate in a fever pitch of dance floor antics before Kadosh & Yost Koen’s ‘Dunkellila’ dives back into celestial territories as a ghostly lead winds eerily into oblivion. 

Rounding out the end of the release is Kintar & BOg’s ‘Tribelune’ where melodic percussion and lush sonics traverse a path deep into emotional sector’s before Upercent’s ‘La Lluita’ finalizes the release with an exquisite array of sonics laid over an engaging broken beat rhythm resulting in a lullaby-esque dreamscape of gorgeous harmonies. 

And for the vinyl connoisseurs Aaaron, Adana Twins, Human Machine, and André Hommen will be available via vinyl while the rest will be digital only. Enjoy!

Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. "The Argentinean artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in June of last year with an excellent remix of Dousk’s ‘Life Is A Carnival’. 2018 also yielded other notable projects including his ‘Micron’ EP (also courtesy of Movement Recordings) and a release on Cid Inc’s Replug Records. 2019 holds promise with two of the Cordoba resident’s tracks being selected by Patrice Baumel for his upcoming Global Underground Berlin compilation. Now landing back on Movement Recordings, Matias presents his much anticipated ‘Hypertrophy / Free Water’ EP.

Rounding the release out and providing the lone interpretation of ‘Free Water’ is Peter Makto & Gregory S who make their label debut here. The Hungarian duo and True Sounds label bosses have firmly etched their place in the electronic underground with releases on Click Records, Low Pressings, Sound Avenue and Proton Music. Although known for their deeper creations they now land on Movement Recordings with a progressive minded take on ‘Free Water’. Taking a cue from the original Peter and Gregory craft a galloping groove and smooth rhythmic core. Nostalgic in nature,it flows through a tantalizing tonal motif before ghostly vocals shift the narrative during the main, perfectly setting the stage for an energetic finale.An inspired remix from the Hungarian duo which rounds out a welcome return to Movement Recordings for Matias Chilano, an artist who continuesto operate at a creative peak."

A year after ‘Modelo’ comes ‘Miracle Of The Rose’, an evocative and authentic development of Horvat’s sound. On ‘Noise’, the vocals of Lelah give way to a stripped-down, reverberant groove.
