Dirty Recordz was founded in 2011 by New Jersey artists BEAZT and The Plague. Ready to fill speakers with sounds of some of the emerging artists in the business, Dirty Recordz is bringing new music to a new label. DIRTY will breakthrough with a slew of other producers in this effort to progressively add to the Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and Drumstep scenes everywhere and anywhere. The original grimy and metallic sounds of BEAZT, The PLAGUE and their collaboration, GRINDHOUSE, will also be featured on this rapidly growing label. With shows across the US and new tracks ready to destroy the dance floor, Dirty Records is well on its way to sharing and spreading the best of the kept secrets in electronic music, infecting the city nights with DIRTY reverberations.


	The band's influences include Jamiroquai, Ian Dury and the Blockheads, The Spin Doctors, Rage Against the Machine and Jill Scott.

Soul Technique create chunky, bass driven pop funk that you just can’t stop humming. Since the release of ‘The ST EP’ in March, they have gained local, national and international attention:
* Their track Move with Me was chosen as Myspace Tune of the Week, by Craig Charles on BBC 6 Music.
* 'Move with Me’ and ‘Ugly’ have had regular airplay on Rai Radio 2, a national Italian radio station with a listenership of over a million listeners.
* BBC Radio Newcastle have been playing ‘Move with Me’ regularly on the More than Soul Show with Nick Roberts.
* They packed out World Headquarters Club, Newcastle for their EP Launch Party.
* The band reached the North and Scotland finals of national competition Live and Unsigned.
The story so far... Soul Technique formed late 2007, through a mutual longing to bring something different to what had become an indie dominant music scene in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was time to shake things up! Their first gig was in March 2008 - a Battle of the Bands competition to win a place to perform at Newcastle’s Green Gathering Festival that summer. The band went on to win this against stiff competition from the region’s finest, and played the Green Gathering in August 2008, to one of the biggest crowds of the festival. Since then, Soul Technique have been relentlessly gigging the local circuit in the North East, attempting to spread their chunky, bass-driven pop funk to every corner.
