Sirgin’s story begins in Norfolk, Virginia, born to an Australian mother and African American father who shared a deep love for reggae music. But his earliest memories weren’t of harmony—they were shaped by the chaos of addiction and survival. With a father caught in the streets and a mother fighting to keep her family safe, Sirgin, only two years old, was uprooted and carried across the world to Perth, Western Australia. What followed was a childhood marked by struggle and silence. Music became his escape and his expression, the one place where he could channel everything he couldn’t say out loud. Years later, a surprise call from the father he hadn’t seen in over a decade pulled Sirgin back to the States. In Altoona, Pennsylvania—a small town that became a landing ground for recovering addicts and a hunting ground for dealers—Sirgin was reintroduced to a father trying to make amends. It was there, in a makeshift home studio built by his dad and uncles, that hip-hop entered his life not just as a sound, but as a culture, a reality, and a lifeline. Sirgin found clarity. A vision of a world beyond pain, beyond conditioning. A world of color, creativity, and infinite possibility. He rebuilt himself from nothing. But tragedy struck again. His younger brother Moses, who had quietly fought his own battle with heroin, overdosed. Sirgin couldn’t save him—and that pain became the ignition for something new.
