SKD is a Latvian producer, DJ and promoter, operating mainly in areas of post-industrial, technoid and experimental electronic music. He’s involved in STURM label and events, runs Construct / Destruct series along other occasional happenings and co-productions, and since 2010 hosts Absolūtais Minors radio show on Radio NABA, dedicated to local undergroundelectronics.
His music has been published on labels like Metaphysik, Monolith Records,Furanum, Ohm Resistance and Gegen Records among others, and since the late 2000’s he’s been regularly performing as a DJ and live - solo or in bands.

This release was born from the collaboration with Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke), who discovered us during 2017 as opening act for KJ show in Rome. 
Jaz Coleman produced, sung and play on this 3 track EP.

The Ep has been recorded in Prague at Faust Records Studio during December 2017 and mixed at Enem Studio by Derek Saxenmeyer in June 2018. Mastered in London at Fluid Mastering by Oli Morgan. Artwork and design by Petulia Mattioli.

Bio:

Sirio Grimaldi, founder of Monolith Records and resident of Liber Null Berlin, was born in Rome in the late 80s and discovered the world of deejaying firstly inspired by the avant-gardiste movement of the “Sound Of Rome”. After digging the London scene and producing tunes for labels like Kaputt, Mechanical Thoughts Records, TMM, Alhena and recently for Analogic Density, he moved to Berlin where the vivid underground scene lead to the creation of Monolith Records; a three-headed platform which looks ahead to the grim future of humankind. The platform is willing to tell about the necessary transition phase of the current world order, delivering techno at its most free and sincere stage.
