The BREADSTEPPAS is a Hip-Hop and Reggae group formed in 2015 in Tigoni, Kenya. Primarily they were represented as a reggae band composed of JJSNWPRD and Ra Ny’Kang.  In 2016 they joined forces with legendary producer Mumo the Sub-Saharan and began work composing music for a Bollywood movie produced in Kenya. This led to a myriad of collaborations with local musicians and rappers including Sharama; Kimya; King Cush; Alvarez Anwar; and Fox Elijah amongst others. This collaborative work formed the foundation of the collective association of artists now known as the Breadsteppas - and the philosophy of Breadstepping. Breadstepping is a quick manoeuvre to counteract the effects of hunger by taking half a loaf of bread and crushing it down into one sandwich.

Sir Mumo is a composer, producer and rapper. He was a founder of the acclaimed hybrid rock-rap group the "Paramediks" in Nairobi in High School and thereafter. He went to the U.S. to study Theology in University and whilst there he produced an electronic music album "Reflections"....
