Created and recorded for a Columbia College Chicago Biology class final project in 2008. Not kidding.

I had the incredible opportunity to spend three days at Playa Viva, one of the most idyllic eco-friendly resorts in the Pacific coast of Mexico. Their yoga platform area was the perfect space to witness the incredible sunsets, and I was inspired to build an ambient meditation/yin yoga set that tracked the setting sun. I’m incredibly happy with the end result, which features songs from the worlds of yoga, meditation, abstract electronic ambient music, Bladerunner, Nine Inch Nails, M83, SOHN, Timothy Leary, Four Tet and other rarities. 

So, if you find yourself in need of a good soundtrack to meditate, practice yin yoga, relax, partake in a plant medicine ceremony, or simply have a gentle trip into your own psyche, enjoy the journey I wove from the coasts of Zihuatanejo in Mexico.
