My friends Paskal & Urban Absolutes played a top live gig afterwards while the night has been completed by Leipzigs own Sevensol & Bender of Kann Recs fame. Distillery still rules!

Es geht darum, die Menschen zu unterhalten, aber Du darfst sie weder über- noch unterschätzen. Du musst aufbegehren und die Musik spielen, von der niemand gedacht hätte, dass er sie freiwillig im Club hören würde. Du musst gleichzeitig Unterhalter und Erzieher sein." So spricht Michael Mayer über das, womit er seit Jahren einen Erfolg nach dem anderen feiert. Doch seinen Namen versteht man nicht nur als Synonym für einen der Top-DJs des Landes. Er steht auch in direkter Verbindung mit Kompakt – Kölner Label, Plattenladen, Distributor, Studio und Booking Agentur, kurz Kanalisationsinstanz verschiedenen künstlerischen Outputs, in einem. Wenige Worte über Michael Mayer zu verlieren, fällt so schwer, wie ihn nicht zu mögen, gab es doch bereits etliche begeisternde Kollaborationen, wie die mit Superpitcher in Form von Supermayer, sowie Remixe für u.a. Depeche Mode und die unvergessene Clubnacht Total Confusion in Köln. Dabei wären noch nicht weltweite Gigs und eigene Produktionen aufgezählt. Aber will will schon von Michael Mayer reden, wenn er ihn hören kann?! Heute, hier, Distillery!
