The three songs of the Stuck in patterns EP  have been produced, recorded & mixed by Deezl Imhof (Foolpark), co-produced by Steff & Andy and mastered by Dan Suter (Echochamber). The songs are characterized by walls of rock guitars which underline the melancholic and wholehearted voice and wreathe those catchy melodies that will stick to your ears before you know it. A full-length album will be released in autumn 2012.

Jacid started making his own music in the late 80's, with influences from pop icons, especially Michael Jackson and Prince. Jacid's love of music prompted him to learn more, which led him to become self-taught on several insturments. Jacid sings, plays the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and he even started producing his music in a home studio. While Jacid was crafting his love of music, he was already working in the music industry. As an A&R Manager for EMI, he managed the musical career of Swiss actor, Martin Schenkel, whose album reached gold status. While working at a major recording label, Jacid couldn't help but notice changes going on. Independent artists were making a big impact with digital marketing and distribution. It became apparent that having a major label wasn't a requirement for success as a musician. Jacid began to market himself as an independent artist. Originally a traditional techno artist, Jacid expanded his range of influences and styles to create a sound that borrows from multiple genres of music. His first releases were several featurings on hiphop-records and finally on a drum n' bass production, "The Fairchild," for Swiss independent label Nanomedia. 2011 marks the first release of Jacid as a producer. His dusty-dry minimal EP, "Arrogance," launched this year, in cooperation with Nanomedia. Apart of the typical elements that make minimal-productions so likeable, the EP features an experimental and surprising sound. Jacid is continuing to refine is minimal sound and work to keep creating music that make it hard to keep your feet still.
