@nomusicforgenocide is a cultural boycott of Israel. Over 400 initial artists and labels have geo-blocked and removed their music from that territory in response to Israel's genocide in Gaza; ethnic cleansing of the Occupied West Bank; apartheid within Israel / '48; political repression of Pro-Palestine efforts wherever we live; and the music industry's own ties to weapons and crimes against humanity. 

This tangible act is just one step toward honoring Palestinian demands to isolate and delegitimize Israel as it kills without consequence on the world stage. The successful cultural boycotts against apartheid South Africa prove that our creative work grants us agency and power. When we wield it together, we add unified pressure to a growing, global, interdependent movement, from Hollywood to the docks of Morocco.

Within a few months of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, every major label either unilaterally removed their entire catalogue from Russia or closed operations entirely, implicitly or explicitly condemning Putin's actions while donating to Ukraine. No such measures have been taken against Israel, or in support of Palestine, after decades of illegal occupation and 23 months into Israel's accelerated genocide.

This initiative is borderless and open to all artists and labels who want to boycott. We hope it leads to additional efforts against the music industry's complicity.

WILHELMINA presents Book of Spells, a project that breathes an air of intrigue into club music as ancient energies meld with forward thought. Drums, human voice, and rhythm echo throughout the 5 tracks - elements that have moved us since the beginning of our time. The bounce of jersey club, the pulsating bass, the changing atmospheres and interlocking grooves alike to techno work together to keep the mind, body, and ears interested.

The book opens up with Divine Hand - textural, dark, and sexy. Airy vocals mark the signature rhythm of Jersey Club and lock you into a groove. Forbidden Movement features organic drums, breaks, and a throbbing bass. Booty Hypnosis feels like a trance, leaving you no choice but to succumb to the 5-minute ritual. Introspection invites you inward, shakers tickle you ears as a single piano key keeps you deep - you cannot quite pinpoint what emotion you are feeling but it is there. The book ends on Kinulam Ng Sayaw [Bewitched by the Dance] - A swung rhythm pushes and pulls your body, as a voice from the aether commands you to dance (sáyaw = dance in Bisaya, a Philippine language). The book closes.

These songs are meant to enchant the listener, spells, to move their body before even they are aware.

Orbit is an art director and sound selector from Kidapawan City, Philippines. Under the alias Kosmos.Khaos, his visual work engages Indigenous narratives within contemporary art and music culture, centering themes of identity, resistance, and connection to the natural world.

The EP artwork for Book of Spells by WILHELMINA draws from Philippine arcane occult traditions, early scientific thought, and folk cosmology. The central image features a tikbalang, a mythic figure rendered in gold. In precolonial societies, gold symbolized protection, spiritual power, and status, functioning as both adornment and talisman. Through this imagery, the artwork bridges myth and modernity, framing the EP as a meeting point between ritual memory and contemporary sound.
