People often look puzzled when they hear the name Banna Mane, but really there's no mystery when it comes to his talent and his ability to command attention. Standing 6 foot 4 inches tall and an even more powerful voice, Banna Mane is definitely hard to miss. David Reed Sr. was born December 21, 1986 in Cleveland, Ohio. As a child his mother and relatives would call him "Banna", as time went on he was constantly surrounded by hip hop influences and in 2006 he decided to start rapping. "I'm a father of 4, I'm not out here rapping just to have something to do when I'm bored I really want to turn this into something to be proud of" says Banna Mane....He started dropping mixtapes independently via internet and hand-to-hand in the streets,that along with performing at local shows with help of a local promotion company Aya Entertainment Banna managed to snag some local attention and developed a growing fan base. "I really want to branch into all avenues of the entertainment industry I want music to be a gateway to the world, alot of people think when your from Cleveland that this is where you stay permanently ..BUT NOT ME!!!! ..Artist in Cleveland often have a hard time finding their own identity, it can be hard to figure out what the "Cleveland Style" is simply because of where we sit on the map. "I'm just doing me that's all I can do because people gonna compare you to other artist period, and haters are worst lol lol" ...says Banna. Cleveland is a city with alot of stories and Banna Mane is positioned to be one of it's best story tellers. Right now Banna is hard at work writing and recording, building his name and his brand.
