Geordie Haley is a composer, improviser, educator and guitarist. Contributing to the creative music scenes of Fredericton NB, Toronto ONT, and now Halifax NS, Geordie has been presenting songs, rhythm based compositions and improvised music for over 25 years. 
Since returning to the Maritimes Geordie has been a featured artist in concert and festival programs by creative music presenters Upstream Music, Suddenly Listen, Canadian Music Center, The Motion Ensemble, Jazz East, Scotia Festival, Shattering the Silence Festival, and the Harvest Jazz Festival.

THRENODIES, a work for 4 musicians and 3 dancers based on Haley’s original compositions in collaboration with dancer/choreographer Susanne Chui was featured a during the 2012 Halifax Jazz Festival.

As an educator Geordie continues his practice at the NSCC Waterfront Campus Music Arts Department, teaching private lessons and instructing ensembles.
As a bandleader Geordie’s music can be heard at cd baby and on CBC RADIO 3.


The Bim Prongs is a (mostly) solo experimental music project by veteran Canadian musician and multi-disciplinary artist W.A.Davison, known for his numerous solo projects (Songs of the New Erotics, Th  W rbl r, Panic Engines, M.Stactor), his involvement in significant Canadian underground/experimental groups (Phycus, Six Heads, Gastric Female Reflex) and collaborations with prominent artists and groups in the international experimental music scene (Nihilist Spasm Band, CCMC, AMM, MSBR, irr.app.(ext.), Nurse With Wound, Monty Cantsin Amen, etc.). After a break with many of his past projects at the end of 2014, Davison established The Bim Prongs as a kind of "everything, including the kitchen sink" catch-all experimental  audio project incorporating a wide variety of strategies and techniques (not to mention a vast archive of recorded material) developed over 30+ years of recording and performance experiments. W.A.Davison received an Acker Award in 2018.

Based in Toronto, Canada and formed by multidisciplinary artist W.A.Davison in 2000 from the ashes of the former junk instrument project Urban Refuse Group, Six Heads is an ensemble of six instrument-builders and sound experimenters dedicated to exploring the rarely trodden territory of surrealist sound collage - aware of the trails previously blazed by other audio surrealists but charting their own path by means of free improvisation, homemade instruments, and live mixing as opposed to studio manipulation/composition.
Six Heads has appeared at 7a*11d International Performance Art Festival (2000), Bummer In The Summer Festival (2006), and Electric Eclectics Festival (2010). In addition, members of Six Heads have performed at the 2008 Whitney Biennial (NYC), Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville (Quebec), Y2K8 International Live Looping Festival (San Jose, California), Liz Was and Miekal And's Festival of the Swamps (Madison, Wisconsin), on Wire magazine's Resonance FM radio station (London, UK), and at legendary tape networker Hal McGee's Dictaphonia Fest (Gainesville, Florida) as well as having collaborated with members of numerous other noise, experimental, and improvised music projects such as Nurse With Wound, Nihilist Spasm Band, CCMC, AMM, and Govt. Alpha.
Recent Six Heads releases have included tapes on american labels Black Horizons ("The Popeye Scat", 2009) and Psychform ("Ether", 2007) and a full-length vinyl LP on Wintage Records. Six Heads is William A. Davison, Sherri Lyn Higgins, Colin Hinz, James Bailey, Pete Mosher, and Linda Feesey.
