I was raised in the Mecca of hip hop where I was exposed to the urban music, poetry and culture at a very early age. When the streets were filled with turntables and speakers I was always trying to get under the ropes for the mic check. Jumping from MC crew to MC crew gave me the years of experience I needed to perfect what has now set me aside from all the rest. It wasn't until 1996 when I met a guy in Kentucky who had a recording contract with Warlock Records that I took music serious. He introduced me to producing tracks, filtering bass lines and editing snare drums. Prior to that I was a great lyricist but had not yet uncovered my musical talents. Since my first beats on a floppy disk drive Ensoniq EPS to my latest digitally formatted material, I've managed to keep that full analog sound with catchy melodies, deep bass lines and drums.

After my time in the south I started traveling across the U.S.  and  found myself in the heart of the music scene in every city I visited. This variety of exposure in turn has influenced my music and made me a well- rounded artist. I learned  that in order to be successful in what I love, I must venture outside of my comfort zone and experiment with different types of music and writing styles. Although my music is in the hip hop family it encompasses so many other genres. It's the perfect dance music with mass commercial appeal.
