Rainbird makes his long awaited return to Bassic Records, with an all original, 3-track showcase, coloured with futuristic shades and the Sounds of Australia. 

Our premiere 'Extinction' is our favourite Rainbird original to date. A dance-floor anthem that is fit for an End of the World doof, Extinction symbolises Rainbird's maturity as a producer, as you can feel him growing into his already unique sound. He extracts the emotion out of the warped symphonies, gels it together with the funky, neuro sound design he is quite famous for. Mid-way through this chromatic journey, we guarantee your jaws will be mopping up the floor, as the track morphs into an absolute monster in the main drop. 

'Extinction' is slightly different from our usual bushed out steeze, but we are so addicted to listening to this track. It's like a mix of old school Deadmau5 tinged with natural sounds that relate to the Australian landscapes. A perfect sonic elixir for the Anthropocene.

“From 2016-2022 I was just using this page (originally titled "Tryptamang") to show my amateurish experimentations/demo's using Ableton intro, a 2012 Macbook & ATH-M40x’s. In 2023 (After losing this first laptop to old age along with almost all my pre 2021 projects) I've finally obtained a fresh MacBook & Ableton suite so now plan to single handedly produce, mix, master & release my multi-genre debut album!
