Whilst a well-known force in underground bass in New Zealand for some time, Paige Julia is now being embraced by the global music community as one of the very profound artists emanating from the south pacific island’s thriving Drum and Bass scene. 

In the run up to her Dreams EP out on Unchained this June, we asked Paige to put together a special mix for us. Packed with plenty of her own dubs, this is a rich selection of both the elegant and tastefully dirty end of jungle, half-time and drum'n'bass.

So my journey into Jungle Techno continues! 
Bit of a dark vibe on this one...

Building on my last track I have tried to improve the production so the elements have more space and the track has a bit more of a polished and "glued together" sound. Also more work on EQ so everything sits in the mix better. Lots of listening until i was happy with it...

I really enjoyed making this one, digging deeper into the endless world of possibilities in Reason DAW, I particularly love the first pad which was made with a mad Granular Synthesizer/Sampler hybrid in Reason.

Anyway enough about the tech, hope you enjoy this one. Had some interest from the  NastySquad on this one so I'm hoping it will get played out! ;)

I got into Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle when I turned 50! better late than never I suppose. haha
