Tkhines are Ashkenazee prayers in Yiddish that that were written and prayed by, and centered the experiences of women, trans, and gender-non-conforming people.  Their words stretch forward to today when we read and engage with them as a sacred prayer practice. This soundcloud is dedicated to reclaiming traditional tkhines liturgy, and makes tkhines accessible through song.
