‘Nation’ EP (Size Records)

Following hot on the heels of their private remix of Kygo’s ‘Firestone’, Third Party return with a three track ‘Nation’ EP for Steve Angello’s seminal label Size. Title track ‘Nation’ features Arias and Daniel Gidlund (on Rise Again). Opening with the aptly named ‘Power’; the EP will be available on September 25th on all platforms. This is the 5th offering from the duo since undertaking the sizable task of putting out 12 releases in 12 months.

With their recent output being released through a variety of labels, this progressive house EP finds the perfect home in Size. ‘Power’ builds ominously and courses with energy; culminating in heavy bass driven peaks throughout. ‘Nation’ is a euphoric, synth heavy alternative. Complete with rolling basslines, it showcases the production versatility Third Party possess.

This latest release on Steve Angello’s hugely respected Size Records is one of the most hotly anticipated of the year. Ever since Steve first dropped the record as far back as Ultra in March, fans of the genre have been eagerly awaiting its release. A collaboration between Kid Coconut label boss Michael Brun and Still Young, an elusive duo taken under the wing of label boss Steve Angello and the force behind several high profile collaborations, ‘Check This Out’ was always going to cause a stir.

A festival anthem with a cinematic touch, ‘Check This Out’ blends acid-influenced stabs, stomping synths and crescendoing drums with electronic chords and a melancholic guitar melody for a party-ready track with depth. It’s the perfect example of Size Records’ burgeoning catalogue of the highest quality electronic music.

‘Check This Out’ will be released on the 16th October, and already looks set to become a hugely successful record for the imprint.

About Michael Brun
Since his first release on Revealed in 2011, Haitian-born, Miami-based DJ / producer Michael Brun has built himself a massive fanbase, with his debut EP Gravity rocketing to #2 on the Beatport Charts in 2013, just below Avicii. He also launched his own imprint, Kid Coconut, in 2014. Soon after this he was nominated for ‘World’s Best EDM Artist’ at the World Music Awards the same year. Needless to say, Michael maintains a busy touring schedule, performing at mega-festivals like Ultra, Coachella and The Billboard Hot 100 Festival.
