La'Dell Germaine was Born and raised in Detroit, MI. Began singing in church at New Ebenezer Baptist church. As La'Dell got older and more into music he began his first talent show in elementary school at the age of 6, singing "I believe I can fly" by the great R-Kelly. After growing into music, La'Dell found himself winning city talent shows, competitions and made his way into the Detroit school of Performing Arts; which is where AALIYAH, Tierria Marie, and Torrence from Gospel Group 21:03 attended. In the process of High school years, La'Dell landed a spot on 106th & Park for Wild Out Wednesday, As a solo artist he did not win to the next round. La'Dell held his head high and proceeded to college, which is where he attended Tennessee State University. La'Dell majored in a program of Music Performance, which this allowed him to sing background for Jennifer Hudson at the 2011 Kennedy Honor Awards in Washington, DC. 
La'Dell began to go through a twist in life, where he became confused about life, he continued to sing and dance, but he was unsure of what God wanted him to do. He began doing choreography for HipHop Artist Casme in Atlanta, whom is signed to Interscope records......To this day, La'Dell is still doing choreography for teens and also working on his New R&B Project (Album untitled) which is scheduled to release in the beginning of November!

The track record is impeccable, the flow is malicious, the future of African hip hop is finally secure. Thanks to one Anthony Victor Muligisa...more commonly known as Krytic.

Weighing in at three years of none-stop good music, two mixtapes deep, and a much anticipated album, entitled Best Before Forever, Krytic is set for nothing but greatness.

Born August 9th in the small town of Jinja, Uganda. Krytic is the first of four. Due to all the civil unrest in his home country, his family relocated all across the Nile, for about two years, finally settling down in Zambia in '89. There is totally nothing cliche about this guy...because as much as everyone claims they got introduced to music at a tender age. Anthony was just your average kid next door and the girl next door would soon learn, a rather cute one at that.

There was nothing...not even his witty nature...that would have hinted the brightly lit future he now faces. His earliest experience with music were Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' album, a tape that he got off his dad. He dabbled in writing slight poetry and by the time he got to his teens, his writing was getting the attention of high school poetry competitions.

Him and music finally made the connection when he overheard his neighbors recording verses over beat box instrumentals. He was instantly drawn towards the witty rhyme patterns, the kick, the snares ,the punchlines that make up the art form he now fights so passionately to defend.

Staying up late nights,sacrificing school grades and social activities...the young poet fought day and night to sharpen his skills on the mic.

After five years he tried his luck in a recording session and recorded his first track...Club It Out...produced by Didi, a resident producer that was causing a riot on the underground scene. The song didn't do very well on the local circuit, but it managed to get the attention of one Defenze, a rival rapper Krytic had taken a stab at on the ride out of the track. A small feud grew off this stab and things were set to heat up until Krytic and Defenze met at his old high school and sorted out their differences. That afternoon, what Krytic defines as "one of the most educative friendships of my life" was born.

The unlikely duo, Krytic and Deffy, took to the mic with insane ferocity, churning out Ndola city underground classics like: How Cold It Gets, Helping Hands, Silence remix and much later...Move featuring Steve.

For a while Krytic and Deffy seemed set to hold down Ndola City for eternity, but then...a wild card was introduce. A wild card called Calamity. Mulu, the producer Deffy had introduced to Krytic (and produced the previously mentioned songs) passed away. Both having been close to Mulu, Krytic and Deffy took his death really badly, and for a moment both seemed ready to give up the hip hop dream, now having nowhere to record. This however changed when Krytic met Steve, another MC that was coming up and getting major air play on radio. Steve introduced Krytic and Def to Bezariel Mwanza, his producer. Unlike anyone Krytic had ever worked with, Bez was more of a mellow producer, whose niche was live instruments. The combination with Krytic's lyrics brought about arguably one of Zambia's most soulful projects.

Seeing the future in him, Bez signed Krytic to his label and began working on his first album,THE NINETH LETTER. However, calamity had other plans, and this time they were closer to home.

On 31st October '06, Krytic's father passed away, leaving behind a wife, four troublesome children and a landslide of bills. Left to be the man of the house,for the first time in his life Krytic began to see the music thing as a means of paying the bills. His pain could be felt on "Shadows of a Glass" a song he wrote for his father.

As though pushed on by the new development, Krytic worked double time on the lyrics, at the same time enrolling in Law school in the capital city. Loaded with a CD of his promo, he took on the capital, and not before long he had got one of his songs on heavy rotation on Q fm. Endorsed by Dj's like Thrill, Chepa, Honey and Drex, the buzz was just sickening.

He began to work with other upcoming rappers from the big city, expanding his listenership in large bounds. His first mix tape...The Eleventh Letter-Mind of a Mad Black Man, included appearances such as Slap d, Dope Ghetto, J.rox and even a sampled verse from 2pac. As usual his spins were massive and "My Best Friend" off the mixtape, soon became a local favorite.

He met 2wo-1ne at a recording studio and the synergy was just insane. From this friendship came the much acclaimed, BURG CITY ON LOCK ONE mixtape, a venture which not only put a new face to local hip hop, but also solidified Krytic's position as 'lyricist of the year' which he got voted later that year. There is no end to the number of insane punchlines that he brings forth. And he says he Is just getting warmed up. With a solid past, a bright future and a thousand plus fans behind him, Krytic doesn't seem to even be slowing down.


When asked what he thinks about the buzz around him he replies, with a smirk "I THINK I WELL EARNED IT."

Born and raised on the Windy City streets of Chicago, this 24 year old native is a sucker for R&B. Singing into hair brushes at about six is where the memory for love for music began. She's always had a passion for picking up a mic as well as a pen. With a drive for poetry and a passion for music she's fairly new to the songwriting game, what she calls "Musical Poetry". For those new to JoLin's music she is a soloist as well as one half of an R&B/HipHop influenced group; SevenSevenThree. Blessed enough to have hit many stages in the city of Chicago, as well as Las Vegas; she's slowly making a name for herself.She has written for herself, SevenSevenThree and other Chicago Underground artists. Ozore Age was founded in 2000 by techno heads Yann Ichbiah and Christophe Martin and Jozé, and later join by Henry Collet and Huber Marniau. Yann had been involved in the party circuit since the early nineties, promoting nights in Paris.

Pour cibler des sorties dans des genres musicaux variés, Vision Alternative développe plusieurs labels: Ozore Age (Fusion electro jazz dub hip hop) Electro Lab Factory (Hard Techno) Ebeat (electro) et Co-produit avec Christian Ferrantini, Arambol Experirience, un projet electro acoustique de films et de musiques, produites en inde.

Partis de rien en Aout 2000, avec 500 euros en poche, grâce au maxi vinyles, le label en sors ces 5 premières années plus de 40, de nombreux artistes underground, dans 4 genres musicaux différents, sur 4 labels différents. Les premiers CD aussi dès 2002. Avec des sorties tels que FKY (10 000 vyniles vendus – 10 000 albums CD), Les boucles Etranges, (12 000 vyniles vendus – 15 000 albums CD), … la belle époque.

En 2005 la crise du disque rattrapant, le label à partir de 2006, commence a connaître des difficultés, malgré que le métier rentre, alors 10 fois plus efficaces que les premières années, force est de constater que les disques ce vendent de moins en moins avec des budgets de promo de plus en plus « couteux » ou « ambitieux », les grandes enseignes tels que Virgin et Fnac musique disparaissent.

 

 

Electro Lab Factory has been a platform for artists coming out of the free-party circuit, with an output ranging from hard techno to pure electro. Major releases to date include the critically-acclaimed Third Type Party LP by FKY (2003), BIG HALLU, and WEEDBASS, mythical duo Les Boucles Etranges album P.S.I., PROTAIL 46 and Longueur d’Ondes, which propelled Mem Pamal at the forefront of the techno scene nationwide. UK act Radio Bomb Crime Number is the label’s latest release, featuring american MC Jamalski.. As well Mem pamal, artist in the shade of the freeparty mouvement which they propels up on the scenes of the hexagon in 2004, year that it end up with the album of IXindamix the hegery of Spiral Tribe.

 

Par ailleurs 2005 et 2006 sont les années où nous enregistrons tout notre catalogue aux sociétés de Producteur Phonographique Françaises, SPPF puis SCPP, et touchons nos premières subventions ainsi que les droits voisins. C’est aussi Le Midem 2005 et la rencontre avec Getty image , et 4 premiers albums signés en synchro, avec notamment l’album de Aliplays. Et enfin la première fois que nous dématérialisons tout notre catalogue et signons notre premier contrat de MP3 avec The ORCHARLD, rencontré aussi au Midem.

Ce sont deux années aussi où l’on diminue puis cesse de produire des maxi vinyles courant 2006, ceux ci étant chers à produire, avec une rentabilité plus promotionnelle que financière et qui cessent d’être à la mode à cette époque pour être remplacés par les systèmes de DJ MP3.


 

E-beat is more geared towards techno and electro with established artists David Caretta, Doctor L. & Dom Farkas (aka Da Linck) on the roster, as well as newcomers such as Nuwerk or Feukx. With first Opus CD: ALIPLAYS, discovery Radio Nova August 2004, comming up February 2005, and then Ken Ishii in 2006 with his album Sunriser.

 


Nous lançons alors des 2005 nos premiers coffrets CD/DVD avec des documentaires musicaux, et un contenu Vidéo, cela sera nos meilleures ventes sur ces deux années, et nous évite la catastrophe qu’ont connu alors de nombreux labels, qui tous encore à cette époque vivaient sur une économie de faste et de dépenses, et ne sauront alors s’adapter à la nouvelle situation économique provoquée par la mutation des systèmes du marché de la musique.

 

VISION ALTERNATIVE remains the core organisation, promoting regular parties and club nights in western France and at major parisian venues such as Elysee Montmartre, Batofar, Folies Pigalle, Nouveau Casino. It is still an outlet for less dancefloor-friendly, more experimental releases such as Francky Brown album Extratimes. and the Minimal Orchestra Album, Jazz break beat electro. And soon the album of the MC JAMALSKI, long awaited since the album published Ruffneck reality at the beginning of 90.

 

En 2007 Yann Ichbiah rencontre Chris de Arambol Expérience, qui lui apprend le métier de l’édition et aide le label à mettre le pied à l’étrier. Ainsi avec l’album de Mister Aul Vision Alternative entre à la SACEM comme Editeur.

Rencontre avec Cécile Bernier en 2008, qui réalise un superbe et énorme travail de gestion éditorial pour nous et enregistre l’ensemble du catalogue à la SACEM en Edition.

 

 

 

 
 

Les 8 première années représentent des milliers de diffusions radios, des dizaines d’articles et publicités dans la presse spécialisée musicale et autres, au moins 2000 Cd promos (+-300 / albums produits) envoyés et ayant circulé dans les médias. 5 clips diffusés sur MCM, MTV et autres chaines musicales.

70 000 maxi vinyles vendus et achetés donc par des DJ's et joués en soirées.

Environs 300 000 CD vendus.

Plus de 200 évènements musicaux organisés en France, principalement sur Paris, dans les lieux les plus fameux de la Capitale : Le Batofar, Le Rex Club, Le Nouveaux Casino, L’Élise Montmartre, Le Glazart, La Fleche d’or … mais aussi sur Bordeaux au 4 Sens et en Bretagne au Scarabée, et enfin 6 mois d’hyper activisme musical dans le VAR avec une ouverture saisonnière sur la cote méditerranéenne d’une discothèque : L’ALTERNATIF en 2009.

A laboratory for research into sounds, Ozore Age and its sister-labels have now become familiar names to techno music fans. With an ever growing target audience, the label continues to give wider exposure to artists from the free-party circuit while keeping its artistic integrity intact.

 

Mi-2009 face a l’accélération de la crise du CD le label décide de ce mettre en sommeil après avoir placé son catalogue auprès de plusieurs sous-éditeurs (voir plus bas) et décide de prendre du recul pour deux années pour voir l’avancée du marché du disque et d’attendre le temps nécessaire à l’activation des différents contrats d’édition signé ou sur le point d’être signé 2009-2010.

La société est donc en sommeil depuis début 2010, et génère des droits éditoriaux.

2012 la société est réactivé par Yann Ichbiah, qui après avoir remis a plat la comptabilité et l’administration du label en 2011 décide de relancer l'activisme musical en label numérique.
