Scott Kent, also known as rapper Wolverine, adopted the persona of the famous Marvel comic creation, full of rage and the unbreakable metal adamantium, long before Hugh Jackman brought the character to movie screens. And while Jackman honed his craft at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Kent also spent years honing his in Perth, except he did it in cyphers, studios and live shows around the city. With his three solo albums,one group album,four mixtapes and incredible production output,players nationwide need adamantium speakers.

He has also performed at some of Australia's premier live venues, and his intense live show has seen him share the stage with acts including Blackalicious, Method Man, Redman, Gza, Muggs, Foreign Legion, Brad Strut, Art of War, Downsyde, Hospice Crew, Bias B, The Funkoars and SBX.

It’s been a long road,But Wolverine is about to be unleashed into the national spotlight.

Sempy discovered the sounds of drum n bass at the ripe age of 15. Inspired by the early sounds of Calyx, Rascal & Klone and the Moving Shadow label. By the time he reached the age of 18, he began to seek out Drum N Bass events. It was from that point on he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life! Fast forward to 2008 and Sempy played his first set at Beat Mash the 4 x Award winning weekly night, with the Inhibit Crew In which he now holds a residency with, playing at many clubs such as Shape, Bar Open, Villa, Rosemount and the the Legendary Metros City Night club. Earning a reputation for his high energy dancefloor tech/neurostep sets, flawless 3 deck mixing and the ability to put on a show you can garuntee that your dancefloor will be heaving when Sempy is on the decks. In 2010 Sempy embarked on his first international bookings playing at the Paradise In Bali Festival in Indonesia & Phat 11 NYE Festival in New Zealand. He has easily become a favourite amongst punters in which in 2011 he was voted as one of Perths Best Drum & Bass DJ's at the 2011 Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMA'S). He has also graced the decks in support of many international artists such as Andy C, DJ Fresh, Dieselboy, Mampi Swift,Concord Dawn, Break, Audio, Evol intent, Ed Rush & Optical, The Upbeats, Cause 4 Concern, Dirty Phonics,Cyantific, Wilkinson, Delta Heavy, ShockOne, Raiden, Black Sun Empire, Camo & Krooked, Dose, Digital, Calyx & TeeBee, Phace, Loadstar and many others. As of recent he has started a new production duo called VOLTRON (with Conxept) 2012 sees Sempy hitting the studio heavily and continuing to push his efforts in production and branch out into other genre's such as Electro, Breaks & Dub-Step. Watch out as Sempy & VLTRN are about to STRIKE!!!
