First off all, a happy new year to you all and we wish you a healthy and musical 2016. 

For the 2016 kick-off we will start with a bang.
This Techno Minded Hero started DJing in 2003 and his career really took of after participating at the Tresor Award of Pacou in 2009. 
Since then he is counted among the steady Ensemble of Berlin's legendary club. 
Nowadays, he and three allies with the series of events "New Faces", which forms a platform for the performance of fresh talent in the legendary club. Every first Wednesday of the month he starts his own special event under this flag seeking for new artists whom embody this spirit. 

Since 2011 he is also making a name for himself as a steady producer. Masses over masses try themselves at being a DJ and in the production of techno. Being a newcomer in this overcrowded market doesn't seem appealing at first sight. Putting in a lot of effort to establish one's reputation is not everyone's cup of tea. To stand out of the masses one must buckle down or have the proper Vitamin B. When Vitamins are lacking, what especially counts are a strong will and persistence. Those are guarantors for the opportunity to exhibit one's talent eventually. The rise of Krenzlin followed this principle on one of the surest Newcomer-Floors in the world. After Sebastian Krenzlin started DJing in 2003, it took several years for him to eventually be discovered as a newcomer after his participation at the Tresor Award of Pacou in 2009. Since he played in the Tresor for the first time in September 2010, he is counted among the steady Ensemble of Berlin's legendary club. 
Even as a producer Krenzlin build up a reputation since 2011. If one reads the list of labels under which he has released since, it is hard to believe that such a fantastic discography can be formed in this short amount of time. With Synewave,Nachtstrom Schallplatten,Driving Forces.

The third Realm Of Consciousness compilation on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife Recordings is the label’s most complete statement so far.

The four-vinyl opus opens with Tale Of Us’ now anthemic ‘Nova’, a high-impact and well-loved staple of their sets this year. Agents Of Time continue with the percussive rattle of ‘Paradigm’, before the first released collaboration between luminaries Recondite and Henrik Schwarz shines with understated melody.

Amongst Mind Against’s eerie masterpiece ‘Portal’ and impressive first appearances on Afterlife from Scuba (as SCB) and Steve Rachmad (as Sterac) are ethereal contributions from Fideles, Ovend and Øostil. UK techno veteran Edit Select channels the darker, hypnotic spirit of Afterlife with ‘Phase In’, setting up the sprawling, 14-minute epic from Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito.

To begin the compilation’s fourth disc, Konstantin Sibold & Kosme’s ‘Cyclone’ lifts the tone, leading into a more introspective sound from Hunter/Game on ‘Changing Weather’. Upcoming German talent Kevin De Vries follows with his infectious cut ‘Mágoa’ and Tone Depth ends the odyssey in mesmerising style with ‘Ibn Sina’.

The full spectrum of Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label is on display here, as they continue to push the envelope with a high-quality and diverse selection of artists.

53 Degrees North marks SK_eleven’s seventh release, as Setaoc Mass continues to add to his flourishing imprint; this time with a two-part EP release. 53 Degrees North Part One focuses its efforts on four-to-the-floor club-centric music the label head is renowned for. All four tracks are emblazoned with his signature, disparate pairing of light and dark sound palettes glued beneath rich, atmospheric textures and hypnotism - all the while keeping its muscular club chassis gleaming beneath.

Part Two of the double release sees Coates revealing more of his experimental side. The second cut pays homage to past influences of the producer as he floats between ambient, IDM and electro cuts with ease, all rife with emotion and passion.

Our dream team is back in the studio for the new instalment of the Selección Natural series. This limited 10 inch vinyl comes as an advance of a full-length work to be released this autumn as PoleGroup057.  
We provide two cuts of raw and powerful techno cooked by Oscar Mulero, Exium and Reeko in Oscar’s studio in the north of Spain. Modular synthesizers, samplers and drum machines expertly crafted on behalf of this proper techno workout.

A side Split Didactics gives all the energy from the beginning, fast tempo, hard drums, obsessive sequences and a linear and hypnotic arrangement.

B side A New Description of Hell runs in similar parameters, hi speed, harsh sound design, no breaks, no pads no useless elements, just energy and purity.

As an extra bonus, artwork by the mighty Silent Servant.

Our 4th upload of the Podcast series is curated by MA ČKA, and we couldn’t be more excited for this one. We have a very special connection with this artist because back in June 2019, KOMPOUND hosted its first event in BARCELONA and had the honour to have her as headliner of the night.

MA ČKA is a Paris based DJ, Producer and Co Founder of the MEKANIKAL BLOODSHED label. 

A steep, dark, powerful industrial techno with a meticulously calibrated saturation, integrating singular textures, both cold and fiery. This is how the universe of Ma Čka can be depicted both in her productions and in her DJ sets. From the most underground clubs to titanic hangars and festivals with Dantean scenography, the music of Mekanikal Blooshed’s co-founder reflects in every way a scene that ignores the twilight.
