Jappa and Napes bonded over the love of a greasy spoon full English breakfast before they jumped into the studio to cook up some bangers it only seemed right to name there debut collaboration 2 track single after the thing they loved most. Both tunes go from grime/140 bpm and develop into DNB/170 bpm, showcasing a range of sounds and styles from both grime and jungle/drum and bass. It’s the return of one of our favourite EP series, Shellerz. As you’ll all know by now, we love supporting rising talents in the scene, and those who more established, but continue to push the bar to exciting levels. This is what Shellerz is about – celebrating the breadth of drum and bass acts shelling it in our scene.

Volume Two does exactly this. From familiar label faces including Bennie, Napes and Jenks, to less familiar (but just as awesome) talents in XAV, CLB, Fernquest and Stance, to the mighty Sub Zero blessing us with a dub that has been doing the rounds at our events for a long time. This EP is testament to the health of the D&B scene.

If Volume One was anything to go by, which featured Toby Ross, J Select, Toxinate and 4K, then you can expect the artists on Volume Two to get a lot of people talking in the coming months. Shellerz incoming.
