Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, six years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition. 

SNB006 comes from newcomers Data 3, a trio that is made up of Dan Hartley (MIDA), Alex Kostykov (Syrum), and Harry Bryson (Bryson). Data 3 formed late 2013 and have been working extremely hard in the studio to create an original, dark and heavy sound to their productions. We're loving this single - watch out for these guys!

As far as we know “Piano Monkey’s” are parasitical guides sent to Earth via comets from distant galaxies far far away in an eldritch form similar to “Cordyceps spores” they defy conventional understanding.
Akin to a quantum particle capable of occupying multiple spaces simultaneously, and occasionally eluding human perception altogether, they are known to digest mycelium and mimosa, these enigmatic musical alien-beings cloaked in human form: are hell bent in cultivating a grand ego to catalyze their mission of harmonising humans through multimedia to reshape the world!
