Brooding, sonically unrepentant and oozing with the kind of stylistic sophistication Stealth is renowned for, this next single on Program sees the welcome return of an underground titan. 

Fierce yet technically adept, ‘Desert Storm’ reintroduces you to a producer who helped to chisel Program’s persona. Stealth takes you deep into its composition, amongst falling amen breaks and cleverly distorted bassline, which only adds to the track’s moody atmospherics. Through hollowed out horn samples and clucking drum rolls, you’re thrown into subterranean riddim of flying beats, underpinned by a sub which ricochets throughout. 

Flipside ‘The Truth’ is fronted by one of the most renowned MC’s of the last decades. With Fat’s on vocals, you’re taken into a vastly different double A, with the MC adding a soulful twist amid piano arpeggio loops, elongated before cascading into the mix. Underpinned by strummed guitar plucks and shivering percussion, it demonstrates Stealth’s ability to hone in on his art, presenting two diverse subjects. 

Stealth’s return will only see momentum grow. With an album looming, expect his catalogue of ruminating dancefloor numbers to expand into the New Year. You know the deal, it's once again...time to get with the Program!

The Chikara Project is a new label launched and managed by Will Marquiss of Mystic State. The aim of the label is to push the finest cuts of electronic music. The only running theme throughout the releases will be the fact that all the tracks will be produced by either Mystic State, Elias Traynor or Third Degree.

DJ Patife has compiled new and exclusive music from some of the most exciting producers in Brazil including names such as L-Side, Alibi, Drumagick, Andrezz, Simplification & Translate, Drumagick, Level 2, David WS, Vangeliez, Critycal Dub & DJ Chap along with new music from himself and guest appearances from top class talent such as Command Strange, The Levels, ArpXP & MC Fats...

This project is an important one. Its represents Patife's re-found love for the game that was re-ignited by a trip to the SUNANDBASS festival. In his own words, DJ Patife tells how and why he felt so inspired.

'From 2009 to 2013, I was away from the industry due to marriage, kids and other personal stuff, but also I'd stepped away from the scene because at that time I wasn't so happy about the music that was out there. A lot of things was changing and it seemed like a natural time for me to take a break.

Then in 2014, I had my first SUNANDBASS experience, it was a game changer for me in so many ways! As a Drum & Bass lover, it was hard to believe that for a whole week an event took place in a paradise named San Teodoro in Sardinia (Italy). An event full of people who love this music from all around world, all alongside those legends who've been in this scene since the beginning.

As a person who loves to share, I thought about my boys in Brazil who have been following and supporting D&B all these years. I was trying to find a way for all of them, or at least a few of them to come to SUNANDBASS, and to see and feel what I was feeling.'

... and thats exactly what he did. Viva Brazil: SUNANDBASS Sessions is a beautifully compiled ode to the SUNANDBASS festival, but also Patife's love of Drum & Bass. This exciting project kicked off last month with 'The Vibe Is Coming EP' EP that was released on both digital and vinyl on SUNANDBASS's own label with a selection of tracks that can also be found here.

The tracks on this compilation are fresh and new but they also manage to capture the essence of the first time you went raving in the sun. This album is a labour of love for Patife, SUNANDBASS & V Recordings.

Filled to the brim with dangerous dubplates this full spectrum injection is a must have for each and every D+B devotee.

Hospital's leading dancefloor duke Danny Byrd has taken things straight back to ’99 with ‘Devil’s Drop’. Firing on all cylinders he's keeping it raw, rolling and funky. In a similarly devilish fashion we have 'Bootstrap Bill’ finally unleashed by the enigmatic Unglued. Unashamedly destructive and executed with precision, this track is more dangerous than Donald Trump drunk on Twitter.

In a perfect fusion of Hospital and Med School, we see Fred V & Grafix's 'Hurricanes (Wild Love)' re-worked with pristine precision by everyone’s favourite prodigy Keeno. Keeping the vibe level at eleven, Hugh Hardie's delivered the gorgeous ‘Nightingale’, both seductively simple and oozing with elegance.

‘Just One Second’ by London Elektricity gets its first re-work since the late Apex’s famous remix on the very first Sick Music. The beautiful track see’s a sterling contemporary edit and is a testament to Mitekiss’ talent.

This album also brings the first solo single from the biggest name in D+B right now, Kings Of The Rollers. Fiercely pushing into new territory ‘Burnt Ends’ has been causing carnage on the dancefloor, getting double wheel-ups from across the globe.

Joining this rich tapestry of exemplary D+B are both veteran composers and new blood alike including: Klute, Whiney, Urbandawn, Reso, Logistics, John B, and of course Hospital Records' commander-in-chief London Elektricity.

The release will be available across all formats but its grandest form will take that off the highly limited box set. Featuring a CD, the 4x12” plates, some box set only stickers and an exclusive T-shirt. One for the collectors, this is not a release to be overlooked.
