In the underground archive, the hum lingered long before the system was switched on. A thin metallic body, assembled from geometry and formulas, lay in waiting. In the silence, one could hear drops of condensation and the faint whisper of fans.

When Paranoiac Del activated the circuit, the space was cut by a bass — low, viscous, as if rising from the earth itself. The structure shuddered, the joints of rhythm unlocked, and cold sensors flared with red light. Yet instead of predictable order, a strange unease emerged: pauses stretched longer than they should, and each hit sounded like the footsteps of an unseen observer.

Thus “Minimalistic” came alive — not an instrument, but a being, assembled from silence and precise fractions. It breathes slowly, studies the space, and seems to look at you through its own sound.

DEEPNAS — where the depth of rhythm borders on paranoia, and every composition becomes a signal from the dark zone in which you are no longer alone.

The "I Want 3 EP" is the first vinyl release on Limitless Recordings. Usually focusing on the liquid spectrum of drum & bass, Limitless looked to try something different for the A-Side. This side contains a Chris.SU remix of Phase's Walk Alone. The original track is a deep and soulful piece of music whereas Chris.SU's flip is a dancehall filler. The B side contains tracks by two producers that are familiar faces to the Limitless roster. The first is a VIP of GLXY's "I Want 2" which will exclusively be released on vinyl. The second is a smooth roller from Northern Zone with uplifting melodies and a cutting edge bass-line, titled "Soul is Still the Same".

The mass of supplicants prostrated just beyond its twisted paws, their pathetic mewling pleasantly caressing the towering feline fiend’s ears as they expressed their divine agony. Drinking up the delicious earmilk of their pain, it reclined languidly in its glorious pedestal; a mass of flesh and sinews with the fine carved bones from the countless many condemned to this realm of eternal torment. Its three eyes rolled apathetically to fall upon one particular beggar, drained of almost all remaining life from her years pennance, spent at the foot of the infernal throne, worshipping the glory of pain in all its truth and crying for salvation. The utter futility of this endeavor suddenly dawned on the great cat, as the constancy of myriad calls made for escape fell upon his ears at once. Suddenly annoyed by this ever-present sound, he reached out, spearing the pathetic being before him with a claw and flinging her from into rock and into the depths of the molten river below. His eyes watched her form ignite and fade in the heat, her soul joining others to be swept into its current on a journey to be reborn as pitiful lesser devils elsewhere in the plane. How benevolent an act, the cat thought to itself, freeing the pitiful creature from her suffering for a brief moment and more even - giving her the opportunity of such an esteemed metamorphosis. Even though the pathetic fiend she would be reborn as would hold not even a candle to his own magnificence, it would still be a marked improvement against the limits of her prior flesh. Sated by his own thoughts, he leaned forward once, rotating his vast ears to better drink in the fresh desperate energy of the remaining supplicants. Its hideous mouth opened to a wide, sharp smile, revealing cruelly serrated fangs that shone unnaturally with a umbral hue. “A reward for my benevolence,” he thought as he plucked the nearest wretch from the rock with a single talon, his pupils sharpening with focussed malevolence as he tossed them into his fur-lined maw. Satisfied, his hunger temporarily sated, there was but one thing left to do. He would take a nap.

The ZOMBIE CATS return to the label that set the fire on their ferocious project back in 2014, placing them on a fierce trajectory of furiously kinetic releases that have brought them to the present, their most pointed assault on the eardrums yet with the WORLD’S END EP on EATBRAIN. With the title track tearing out of the mouth of hell with slower bpm but highly charged energy, further establishing the newly forming neurowave genre, the cats make a bold statement from the outset. Also featuring 2 intense collaborations with masters of their art ABIS and MALUX, alongside 3 further astounding intensely fresh solo cuts, the WORLD’S END EP is a welcome return for one of tech dnb’s most respected duo’s, on one of the genres most consistent labels. Everyone keeps secrets, everyone lies, and most even steal when the situation abides. Sins like these, small as they are, are an integral part of the human condition. I should know. It’s my job to investigate these things after all. I look past the lies, peer into the secrets and see the sins of all who come under my gaze, scrutinizing them from the impunity of my position and doling out the requisite punishments appropriately. It’s a fortunate position that I find myself in, for otherwise I would be counted well within the ranks of those whom I investigate.

My sins arise in the oddest of places, seeping through the walls I place around them. I take every effort to keep them controlled, locked up tightly with the key thrown away. But there is another essence inside me, one that must sometimes come out to play. Its hunger is ravenous and fed only by violence, and it drives me to madness within a crimson haze. Rising unpredictably, it bursts from its cage with ferocity as it takes control of my mind. Under its influence I am twisted & torn, a terrifying beast of malice and rage. Those around me are forfeit whether friend or foe, for the beast knows no such distinctions when it overtakes me. I wake from such moments with faint memories clouded still by that red mist, only to find the appalling truth surrounding me at every term. The word now spreads of a monstrous man, who roams the streets slaying with reckless abandon. Its this man I now track, the task of my job, but what they do not know is that the MONSTER INSIDE was me all along.

SMOOTH (also one part of TELEKINESIS) makes his solo EATBRAIN debut with the MONSTER INSIDE EP featuring four fiendish tracks in his signature style. ROLY-POLY opens the EP with a devious rolling bassline interspersed with powerful horn blasts and boisterous vocal shots. RIDE OUT features the vocal tones of MC COPPA for a quickly accelerating tune that peaks with the metallic pulsations of its bassline and rapid fire percussion in a devastating flurry. MONSTER INSIDE darkens the tone of its predecessor, with its sinister pads providing the backing for a grinding bassline that slithers through the track’s low end, whilst DEVILS HEAD amplifies this atmosphere, maintaining its sinister elements while pushing them into overdrive for a furious finale to the EP. With the MONSTER INSIDE EP, SMOOTH lands his unique sound on EATBRAIN with a devious work sure to resonate with the EATBRAIN horde.
