For our third instalment, we would like to welcome Canadian native Sean Roman to the Get Twisted camp. After making waves in the Drum ‘n’ Bass scene, producing under the name of Mutt. Sean is now causing a quiet a storm within the House scene, scoring a string of successful releases on labels such as Akbal Music, Alive Recordings, Hot Waves, Extended Play, Runnin’ Wild and Suruba. 

Sean has built up a following worldwide and along the way gained support of his material from established DJ’s such as Solomun, Droog, Lee Foss, Jamie Jones and Miguel Campbell. In a short space of time he has became one of the in-demand rising stars in the industry today.

We are proud to present the ‘Trick Baby’ EP, the lead track ‘Trick Baby’ comes action packed with plenty of funk and deep driven grooves, with a seductive hook vox, sure to get most events started. ‘I Shouldn’t’ sees Mr Roman bring a more Nu-Disco/Melodic vibe, aided with an excellent chosen female vocal, that sits effortlessly. ‘Can’t Do Without You’ rounds off this well-crafted EP, expect more Nu-Disco antics, built with summer terraces and roof top parties in mind. This demonstrates further why Sean Roman is a name to look out for.

Refusing to not let you stand still, the North London producer nails it with the pulsating baseline which slowly takes control of your upper body and feet making it impossible not to bounce along. The misty cold Angel is just that! Providing a pure and clear energy throughout, Retroynths uses chopped harmonies to flow throughout the track as well as male and female warped vocals to take centre stage allowing his subtle percussion to take a back seat although never to be overlooked. The bubbly Anywhere ends the Don’t Go EP and provides an irreversible bouncy groove to your body that will stay with you long after the track ends. With more warped vocals and some swirling effects added to the musical equation, only positive vibes and creative energies are provided with this number and make this EP suitable for any dance floor.
